This item is great if you need a small porch(over the door) cover. The weight of the item is very good and it does a great job of keeping you dry. Wasn't impressed with the width but that's more on me because I didn't look into the size before ordering.

The product is lightweight So easy to lift overhead and the mounting hardware is very secure. Took about 30 minutes to assemble and mount.

We just painted our home and noticed wood rot by our front door, this was caused rain coming off the roof when there is heavy down pours, this product keeps the rain away from the house, it was a bit of a hassle to assemble, the screws that came with the awning had the wrong type of head for a curved surface and they were bare metal so on a black surface not good so I painted the heads black no big deal but since i'm taking the time to write this I thought I would mention it. Overall it serves the purpose and looks good as far as curb appeal is concerned.

I put 4 in a row over a slider and fixed the splash issue. Look good, simple and easy to install.

Only time will tell. Did arrive a little smashed up.Update: They survived massive storms. They are now on the house and garage. 5 in total.Use two 4" and two 8" steel #10 (I think it was) to replace anchor bolts. There is a design flaw, so I drilled new holes and anchored them in, in a different manner. Withstood 80 mph winds.

I needed to shade my solar panel controller because it is on the West side of my house and gets really hot. This did the trick. Nice design. Easy to install. If you need total shade, you can put an opaque piece of plastic over it. Very good value for the price.

I love the awning but it was impossible to put up with one person since I doubled them up to span 2 windows. Didn't help that I live in a mobile home so it was hard to find something solid to attach it too. As you can see in the photo, though, less than 2 weeks after I installed it one of the panels is splitting. Normally I would complain and send it back but there's no way I'm taking it down again after finally getting it up. What I would like is for the factory to send me one new panel so I ca replace just the one! I'll let everyone know if they respond....I contacted the company and they are going to send me a replacement panel. I'm very happy with this!...I have to add that this company has excellent customer service and response time. They actually sent me a whole new unit within 5 days of my contacting them,
