Bought this for my grand daughter to wear when playing princess dress up . It is actually really nice. Has held up very well. She plays dress up, but also plays rough outside and sleeps in it, she never wants to rake off. it’s held up very well.

Amulet looks real and is not a plastic pos. This is a true replica not like the ones that come with the Sofia costumes you buy with the amulet included.

Our 5 year old daughter loves this amulet, as she is a big fan of the Disney princess who wears one. It isn't flimsy, -- fairly durable. She can't do the clasp by herself, but I didn't expect her to be able to. After wearing it for a month, the chain is just beginning to tarnish a little, but the amulet still looks great. It's good enough quality for the price.

Very cute, is perfect for a young girl. It will get damaged (like scratches in the jewel, and the silver rubbing off of the back of the jewel), but it is play jewelry. My daughter loves it still! It's her amulet!

My 3 year old niece was more excited about this gift than any of the other expensive ones I got her for Christmas. The packaging doesn’t show or mention Sophia, but as soon as she opened it, she freaked out!! It is beautiful, has a more intricate design than the others I viewed, and she is totally convinced it is magical. Maybe it is... my son, on leave from the military, left the house to attend another party. A few minutes later, he pulled back in the driveway. My niece jumped for joy, saying she had wished my son would come back.. “AND HE DID!!” lol. Granted, he forgot his phone charger, but.. magic works in mysterious ways!

My daughter was excited about bc she loves Sofia the First. But there are unfortunately two big flaws. One: the chain is too short to fit over her head. So she can't take it on and off by herself which is really frustrating for a 4yr old. Two: there is nothing that keeps the amulet on the chain when you unclasp it, so if she holds it wrong it slips right off the chain... which again is really frustrating for a little kid. It's really cute and looks great but it isn't very functional for a little girl to play with.

I was surprised by the thick chain. I bought it for my 2 year old so it would be good, better even, for an older child. I might even replace the chain temporarily with something more toddler friendly. But if I had been buying this for an older child I would have been happy to have it. The pendant itself is nice too. For the price I'm more than happy.
