Was gathering up all the frames I could so I picked this one up. The style is just okay, but it feels nice and was easy to hang. I could do without the dark stripe around the frame, but mixed in with a bunch of other frames, I think it's totally fine. Pretty happy with the frame overall.

The "Rustic Walnut 5x7 Frame" is a pretty standard, nice-looking, and simple wooden frame that has been stained a lovely dark walnut color.I ordered it to go with a collection of photos which were also in older-styled wooden frames, and it fit right in! :)-------------Pros:* It has the typical thin metal hangers on the back for hanging it horizontally or vertically. It also has a stand so that it can be placed on a flat surface in either orientation. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the stand doesn't stick out when place flat against the frame.* There are 4 little "arms" that lock the backing in place, those wonderful easy-push ones where they're elevated at the end, and you push them down towards the picture and then slide them underneath the frame.* There are protective film layers on -both- sides of the plexiglass to keep it looking good. :)-------------Meh:* It has plexiglass in place of traditional glass, which might bother some people. Personally, it looks exactly the same to me, and I don't have to worry about running interference with my cat while simultaneously trying to clean up a dangerous mess after it inevitably falls down for whatever reason, so I'm completely fine with it. :)* It doesn't come with a mat or corner protectors, but that's by no means a dealbreaker for me.-------------Cons:* None that I could find. :)-------------At just over $7, I would order it again. That's a great price for a frame, even for a simple, single frame, and it looks really nice. :)

I ordered the 4x6 in walnut. Overall this is a nice frame for the cost. It rates a 4.5. It has a plexiglass versus glass front. I took off because there were a few small blemishes on the front of frame. However nothing noticeable from a distance. The frame is pretty lightweight. It says solid wood but the wood has some sort of coating. The light weight of the frame makes me think walnut refers only to the color? The weight feels more like a balsa type wood, though I am not an expert in wood. Not sure if its wrapped in some sort of coating or if it's painted on top but as mentioned the coating was not perfect. I do like the thin black line, adds a nice detail to a small frame. I am happy to display this in my home but if you are gifting be aware it is not a luxury frame. The price point is good.
