Instructions wear clear, and you definitely get the value for your money. The appearance of the windows look nice on our inclose trailer.

The window was very well packed in bubble wrap. The package included the window itself, a bag of screws and a business card from the manufacturer. I ordered it about a month ago and finally recently installed it (about a month). Upon inspecting the window, I noticed that the seal on the periphery fit poorly. Actually, it wasn’t that it was incorrectly installed, but that the glue had softened and the seal was no longer where it should have been. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture. I had to re-position the seal appropriately. Fortunately, it wasn’t torn, but in repositioning it, it did leave some of the rubber behind on the glue. There are no instructions on installing the window. Frankly, this is very dependent on the type of wall it will be installed in, but the same basic dimensions do apply, and the opening for the window itself is a little smaller than for the doubler on the inside. So if installing on a sandwich-type wall panel, it might be best to make the opening to the dimensions of the doubler. I did not since I have a sheet metal exterior and plywood on the inside. In addition, I added foam insulation in between the inner and outer panels. I did make a wooden frame to stabilize the opening since there wasn’t any structure for this purpose. It prevents the sheetmetal from bowing in under the sun or by finger pressure. Obviously, this would not be necessary for a solid panel.Once installed, the window works fine. I am happy with the result, but it took me a little while to figure out what to do and finish the initial setup. I’d say from beginning to end for a first time installation, it takes about 4-5 hours, assuming you have all the materials and tools nearby. It should go faster the second time around.Steps for a typical outer aluminum skin with plywood on the inside - It’s easier if the wall is solid1- Locate window on the door or wall of your trailer.2- Apply tape on the exterior skin to prevent scratches while cutting the sheetmetal approximately where you will be installing the window.3- Remove plywood on the inside. This will let you see what’s inside the door to make sure you’re not cutting part of the door or wall structure.4- Layout the opening on the tape and cut it out using a jig saw.5- Re-install the inner panel and trace the opening from the cutout on the exterior skin. You can also drill holes at strategic locations and re-layout the cutout on the plywood.6- Make a frame (I used 2x2 cut down to size) around the window that fits in between the inner and outer skins - I wedged the horizontal members between the two vertical square tubes that make up the inner structure and screwed vertical members to the two horizontal ones.7- This is when you can install insulation foam if you are so inclined. I used 1” thick foam with a reflective side that faces the outside.8- Re-install the inner skin (plywood) and install screws through the plywood into the window frame - make sure the screws don’t go through the sheetmetal.9- Have someone hold the window and from the inside, install the window doubler. The screws are self tapping and should go into the groove on the window frame.10- Apply a bead of sealant on the periphery of the window on the outside if so desired for additional waterproofing.

We bought two of these for our cargo trailer conversion. For the first time of doing a window installation, they came out good. My husband watched several YouTube videos before attempting the installation. They installed as expected. He did make his first cut on a piece of wood to make sure it would fit.

Trim rings are too big. Bought these before and rings fit perfectly but this time the rings were too big by maybe an inch. Didn’t realize this till had hole cutout for window so I had to cut and modify the trim rings to fit. Was going to buy 2 more but now I will probably look at another company. Very disappointed!!

The window seems to be made well. This is the second order for me. I installed two windows in my utility trailer camper conversion. It does not come with a template so you might want to make one b4 cutting the hole in your trailer. Once you get the hole cut in, it installs easily. No leaks. Youtube videos will show you the way.

It does not come with a template. It was easier to remove the door and lay it flat to install. I used the frame and made my own template and then cut with a jigsaw. It does not require it, but I used black RTV on the outer trim for added weather proofing. It works as it should!

Good fit in my cargo conversion I'm doing. There are no instructions for install so make sure to make a good templet from cardboard or something before cutting holes in your wall. They are made well some QC issues but overall not bad. Screens are removable and the glass is good quality. Be sure to use a good sealant as well, I used longer screws than what came with the kit.

I was disappointed that all the photos show these windows to come with rubber gaskets, but mine showed up with thinner foam tape seals instead. Hopefully they won't leak. But as far as installation goes they were easy and fit great. My enclosed trailer has 3/8" plywood walls and aluminum outer skin. I ordered the windows with 1.5" thickness and they fit well. A sharp jig saw blade is a must before cutting.
