This is an absolutely beautiful piece. It has an old world charm. It is somewhat durable, however, I wish it could have been made of a slightly thicker wood. Overall pleased.

I used this wood box for a card box for my best friends wedding. It was beautiful and a total hit with the bride and groom. I was able to customize it with places they have traveled and use adhesive vinyl to decorate it with no issues. My only complaint would be that the box hinges are not very sturdy so be gentle with opening and closing multiple times.

This is a solidly-made, attractive, and fun "treasure box" that perfectly matches the product description. The swivel locks are difficule to see (dark coated metal) against the dark wood and leather, but hold adequately for around the house usage. It's NOT a "suitcase" and does not lock securely; It is made of very lightweight wood. I rubbed the exterior with a small amount of Old English clear furniture oil and it now looks great. This is a great trinket or jewelry box, but will not hold up as a children's toy box or as luggage. We are pleased with it.

I used the case once and the strap holding the case broke. I put no strain on the strap and did not have anything heavy inside the case while I was holding it. A good thing about the case though is the design is very nice and it is not annoyingly heavy.

It was super small!! I thought it was the size of a real, usable suitcase. Now I have a tiny suitcase I can do nothing with.

Case was a little small but very well made! I bought this for my 9 year old son- he loves old/vintage looking things. He puts random stuff in it like his sketch pad with pencil, books, and even a few items of clothes. He loves it and it's very well made- right down to the clasp enclosures! Pretty cool and well worth the money I paid for it. It was priced considerably less than other similar items and I'm so glad I purchased this one!

This is a beautiful wooden suitcase. It looks weathered and old but it isn't. It is exactly what I was looking for. The only weird thing was what I found inside the suitcase when it arrived. When I opened it up it had one piece of tissue paper, a broken piece of Styrofoam and a silica packet in it. I couldn't figure out what the tissue paper was for or the Styrofoam. The silica packet makes sense. At first I thought maybe it had wrapped something that was now loose in the suitcase but there was nothing to be found. It remains a mystery. Oh well. I love the suitcase anyway.
