So this isn't heirloom quality, but it will survive one niece, and be able to go into the hands of her brother, though it might not survive super rough-housing by him after 10 years of use. It looks very cool. The details are great, and it works. It made me smile imagining what it will allow a little, magical someone to conjure up. And seriously, what a better place to store cool, important stuff. It's pricey, but will last longer for a kid than any clothing or shoes you buy & they will grow out of, so it's worthy.

The item was not described as distressed, but we noted two gouges exposing the cheap plywood construction that lies beneath. The shipping box was not damaged, so we're fairly certain this is either the design, or an indication of poor craftsmanship. Either way, this was dissatisfying.Also, the rivet pieces around the box - they look really nice, as long as they don't fall off onto the floor. They're held on with finishing nails. A fact I discovered after I nearly stepped on one that had fallen off as we unboxed it. One of them seemed to be missing from the point of manufacture - it wasn't in the box.The buckle on the front doesn't align properly - it is getting returned.

Le coffre est réélement comme sur la phot, toutefois il est un fragile, parfait pour un usage de bureau, je l'ai utilisé pour une chasse au trésor, il a été balloté un peu partout et n'en fera pas une deuxiéme.

Forziere bello esteticamente ma non fatto benissimo. Presenta in molte parti dei difetti ma tenendo conto che l’idea è del forziere vintage ci si può passare sopra. Il problema più grande è che il colore non è fissato bene e quando lo si tocca rimane il colore sulle mani. Ho risolto comprando una vernice fissante.

Pour ce prix, on s'attendrait à autre chose que quelques planches de contreplaqué. Le fond surtout n'est vraiment pas solide et on ne peut pas y ranger des bouteilles par exemples car il se romprait.

Pretty box. For decorative purposes only. Not too happy with this item. Way too flimsy especially on the bottom, for the price. A button was missing upon arrival and has a nick on it.

The wood is quite thin, but it works for an okay treasure chest. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for, although a bit pricey for what you get. It's worth about $30 and I wouldn't expect it to hold up to any real rough playing.

Nice. Sturdy. Looks good mate. Buy a bunch og gold and silver faux coins to complete the pirate effect. Yo HO yo ho, it's a pirates life for me.
