The Hudson Hi-Fi cleaning fluid is intended for practicing good LP hygiene and eliminating distracting noise. Getting to the bottom of the microgrooves and restoring shine is easy as pie. The bottle contains superior ingredients and provides uniform distribution across the delicate record surface.
Based on the national archives formula. Deionized water and a mild surfactant - safe for the records, vicious to dirt, dust and grime.
The package includes a spray, a microfiber cloth, and a label protector. All you need for a proper, deep clean.
Spray, wait for 10-20 seconds and apply pressure with the cloth following the grooves. Gently wipe a couple of times.
Using this efficient and gentle vinyl record cleaning fluid, you can expect a vast improvement in overall soundstage clarity and instrumental definition. Regular and proper cleaning routine can eliminate or reduce crackly, popping noises. The cleaning cloth is highly absorbent, thus promoting easy and quick cleaning.

Hudson Hi-Fi does it again! This is a great little kit and does the job perfectly. I really like the cover for the record label so it doesn't get sprayed during the cleaning process. This kit is highly recommended!

Easy to use of course, the label protector was quite bent, but still usable. Does an alright job of cleaning, but not great.

This product works well. It is not recommended for deep cleans though; this product also works better with a record brush. But for small, non-snobby cleans it works fine.

This record cleaning solution was easy to use. I like that this set included the label protector, which was the perfect size. The bottle sprayed easily and had pretty even cover across the record surface. When I used this on some of my dustier pre-owned records that I purchased, it helped restore their shine. However, I think something besides the microfiber cloth may help to get into the grooves a bit better than.

Wow, residue that won't wipe off my vinyl and then after playing the record I cleaned, the music about halfway through began to get all distorted. I then went back and played the first song I had just played and that originally sounded fine, and that now played terrible and fuzzy. I don't know what on earth this solution just did to my stylus, but I hope it's not permanent. Avoid this cleaning solution. Also, the label protector comes rolled up inside the cleaning box, so it's not flat and level when you take it out. It has edges that will lift up, so when you spray the solution, it could get under it on and onto the label. The spray bottle does not spray in a straight stream either, it's a very fanned out mist.

I normally use Spin-Clean on my records but occasionally find that used records I purchase are VERY dirty or I need to do a bit of spot cleaning (fingerprints, etc.), This cleaning collection really does a nice job for those needs. I couple this with the Big Fudge velvet record brush and it seems to do a good job. I also like the label protector. Makes me more confident when spraying the cleaner.

I recently inherited my mom's vinyl collection and some were in a bit of a mess. I wasn't expecting a lot but this kit made them all sound like newThe label cover is nice so your label doesn't get damp. The bottle holds a generous supply of cleaner and the cloth is nice and large.I think the price is good for the quality.
