Having a slim profile dart barrel is necessary to obtain a closer grouping of darts to maximizing scoring. Intended for use with electronic dartboards and are ideal for casual-to-intermediate level players. Each barrel has strategically placed knurled bands, deep grooves and rings that make excellent gripping points and encourages consistent hand placement. Viper Silver Thunder darts are equipped with lightweight, convex nylon shafts that provide a tight fitting to the barrel, improving stability and greatly reduces the need to retighten during play. Quality flights help increase speed and reduce drag, producing a consistent flight path for pinpoint accuracy; detailed graphics are prominently displayed for added flare. These darts feature 2BA Tufflex Tips II soft tip dart points that have a reinforced cone, making them extremely strong and durable. Simply twist for a tight, secure fitting and easy removal. The barrels are compatible with all 2BA sized corkscrew thread dart points.

I was looking to try a 20 g dart but wanted to try something inexpensive before buying a more expensive set. These fit the bill and helped me to make the decision to size up in weight. HOWEVER, the shafts are plastic and one of them broke off in the barrel the first time we used them so I would recommend replacing the shaft right away.

I used to play in a dart league and used higher end tungsten darts. These are not that but I really liked them. They felt perfectly weighted and flew true. Please know that with soft tip darts that the tips usually are replaced often and the plastic part of the shaft occasionally. That goes for any dart no matter how expensive. If you are looking to get into the sport or just want a very decent set compared to the bar's house darts then do not hesitate. These are great.

I bought this product solely for the heavier barrels for my darts I use regularly. I had a smaller weight, and wanted something a little heavier, so I could have more control. These barrels delivered for me. They’re heavier and just what I needed. I can’t say anything about the other pieces on the darts. But for heavier barrels, this was a great deal and I’m satisfied

I'll make this easy for you: these darts would be a steal at twice the asking price, so if you've got this far, just buy them. They won't make you superman, but are good quality, nice looking darts that will keep you from getting ringworm from the beater house darts at your local pub. The back of the box says it all: "#1 choice of beginners who want to build their collection with different styles and weights." Unless you are opposed to knurled barrels, this is the dart to buy for under $15.

I was searching for a new set of steel tipped darts, and these showed up in the list.Placed the order, paid and then reviewed the item to find out they are SOFT tipped darts.Why would soft tipped darts be listed under steel tipped darts, I cannot say.However, the actual dart itself is great. Still have to find a steel tip conversion to make them useable. Would give more stars if the search listing was correct.

A nice dart for beginners wanting to shoot a 20 gram soft tipped dart! Excellent craftsmanship. No sharp edges beside the point. All there is is three darts with one set of flights. Three darts three flights. The flights are excellent quality.

I'm no dart expert but bought these. I'm not sure if soft-tip are for a specific kind of board but all three darts tips broke within the first half hour of using them. I'll surely buy steel tip darts next time
