I purchased this for fun and I quite like it. It has NO padding on it, and it is loud when you hit a ball with it, but for casual play it works just fine. I would highly recommend it for casual play, but this is NOT a good paddle for any kind of competitive play.

Great paddle for those who like a pimpled surface. The rubber does begin to peel away from the wood around the edges after some use, but it hasn't affected play. A little super glue helps when needed.
