Cables are kinda cheap, but it works fine. Sound and picture quality are the same as any other VGA cable.

I have several older PC's that I keep around to run specific software on older operating systems. In case you're wondering, yes several are PC games. The older PC's usually still have VGA video connections and over the years I've found the VGA monitors die out before the PC's do. Using this type of video cable adapter allows me to use newer monitors or TV's with the older PC's. The cable worked as expected and I had no issues with it. The response rate of the monitor was fine and I'm happy with it.

I have seven identical old laptops that have VGA ports on them that I paid $20 for each on an auction website. I am a software developer and I use these for testing. It was last week’s “The OSU” Football game when I decided to search for this device. I don’t have cable TV but the FOX Sports app offers a 1-hour preview for free. After that hour the computer could no longer be used for additional free time to watch the game. That day, I did find enough laptops to watch the game that had HDMI ports. My concern was what am I going to do next time I want to watch a game that is only available on Fox Sports? This adapter turns out to be my answer. It provides a decent image (1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz). It does not require any software drivers - it is a complete hardware implementation. It works like a charm.Looking over the other reviewers, I think I can understand another saying that this doesn’t work. This came with no instructions. It has three plugs that MUST be plugged into the laptop. If you don’t plug all three cables in you will have various problems. I suspect that reviewer didn’t plug in the USB cable because they were just converting from VGA to HDMI. If I didn’t know that the USB cable is providing the required power to make this work, I might guess it didn’t need to be used and come to the same conclusion.

This 5 ft VisionTek VGA to HDMI Cable arrived well packaged and in good condition. The cable and all connectors appeared to be well made and in good condition. I ordered this cable because I have an older small desktop computer that has a VGA port, but no HDMI. The monitor that I am using has only HDMI. This cable was simple to connect (plug and play) and worked immediately after I plugged it in. Now I have the VGA end of the cable plugged into the computer and the HDMI end of the cable plugged into the monitor, and it works great. Unfortunately, the older PC does not have a sound card, so I was unable to test the sound transmission. Great solution in situations where there is a need to connect old and new technology. I highly recommend this product.

I'm using this VGA to HDMI adapter for some older PCs. It worked with standard resolutions fine, displaying a 1-pixel checkerboard pattern without any Moire patterns. Audio was clear and properly synchronized. This is a nice, all-in-one cable for these VGA-only devices.I tried variations on standard resolutions (reduced blanking, adjusting the clock rate slightly) and it did display, but didn't detect the edges properly, adding some borders (and shrinking the image a little). So your device will need to use standard timings with this if you want 1:1 pixel mapping without scaling.

These lamps are great for any room. They come with a light bulb that is very bright as well as a lamp shade. I wasn’t a huge fan of the lamp shade quality but it will work. It was very easy and quick to set up both lamps as they are compactly sealed.
