Stunning! I tried a few different devices and was always disappointed and then frustrated for not being able to find a product that will project my laptop on two monitors. Then I started contacting the USA brand computer companies and called Dell. I was suggested VT200. I looked at it and then saw other members of the VisionTek family at Visiontek.com. Spoke to Robert in tech support and bought this product from Amazon for the best price. And by golly, I could not believe my eyes when I turned my laptop on; my two monitors and my laptop lit up! I did not have to do anything else. I opened three different programs and moved them around! the moves were flawless!The product is awesome.

Monitors all connect and display fine. I can get audio to play from my headphones through the audio jack but nothing I've done gets the microphone audio to my computer.

Overall this has been a great docking station for me. This was a good fit for me as I have an older laptop without usb-c. The only reason not 5 stars is that there was some extreme lag when I tried to use my wireless keyboard with it (in contrast the wireless keyboard with its dongle plugged directly into the laptop worked just fine). My solution was to use a wired keyboard and it’s done great for me ever since! — I never had any problems with my wireless mouse and this docking station

Tried 4 other USB-C models and all were non-functional with the external displays. This unit plugged into USB-3 and works perfectly.

Just outstanding. I have used this USB dock to connect my 7 year old Lenovo Ideapad Y400 as both my HDMI and VGA ports are not functioning anymore . It was just really seem less . I coincidentally had the display link already installed my laptop before I connect it for the first time and the moment I connected it just worked like a charm . Value of for the money . Would highly recommend anyone looking for the USB based dock to buy this product .

Original Comment: I had previous purchased one with USB-C but it didn't work for me.Found this one and thought i'd give it a try. Works amazing! All 3 monitors in addition to my laptop monitor all work at the same time! Absolutely no regrets. Worked instantly. Plug and play. I'm a happy girl. Now i can work from home and game in peace hahaNew Update: No longer working properly. Can't use the laptop closed anymore. Lags abruptly. Basically crashes now. Oh and no longer reading the screen resolution like it used to. Displeased to say the least.

Update 4/5/20:I have been able to navigate around the confusing driver installation process. It never quite made sense and seemed to not be set up in a user-friendly way. Besides that, it has been working as I'd hoped it would.I researched this device specifically to be used with my laptop model. After installing drivers, I'm prompted to pay $9.99/month to "update out-of-date or missing drivers." It's possible that there is away around this but this was advertised as "plug in and use" and I'm not interested in doing a bunch of research to make this work for me. I am likely returning this product unless it's possible to use it with no further cost.

I bought the VT100 so I could run dual external monitors with a laptop that had only one HDMI video port. The VT100 installation and setup were very, very easy and the product works perfectly out of the box. The VT100 plugs into one USB-A port (the older, larger port). I then connected one HDMI monitor cable, one VGA monitor cable, a mouse, a keyboard, and an Ethernet cable to the VT100, downloaded and installed the DisplayLink driver software, and presto, all devices came up working effortlessly. I ran a speed test on the Ethernet cable connection to the Internet and got the same speed as usual. The VT100 does not slow down the network in the least. Add to this VisionTek's top notch professional packaging, crystal clear directions, and top professional tech support, and they can't be beat!
