As an occupational therapist I purchased this elevated toilet seat with hand rails for a family member as he needed both the additional height and hand rails or pushing up n when standing. Of all the seat adaptions I liked this one the best because it attaches directly to the commode easily, with less chance of movement when transferring on/of the commode. It is easy to clean and is comfortable.

This was exactly what I needed for my toilet to help me with my disability. It attaches easily and it's very sturdy. Just to give you some ideas I am 5'8 tall and I weigh 175 lb

This toilet seat riser is easy to assemble and does the job, sort of. I actually just needed the handles following back surgery and it was helpful in this respect, but it does not have a positive way of stabilizing the riser on the toilet, so it can shift position even when the screws are tightened correctly. It also has a gap between it and the toilet bowl which can not be cleaned without removing the riser, which is not that easy, the wing nuts being quite low behind the toilet. What this product needed was some shields extending down inside the toilet bowl for a couple of inches, in order to stabilize its motion and to protect the gap from getting dirty. Since it allowed me to stand up using the handles, I will not return it after using it, but it went back in its box and will keep it in my garage, just in case. I purchased from Amazon a "FSA/HSA Eligible Toilet Safety Rails, Adjustable Toilet Safety Frame", which works much better, is less expensive and is very well designed. You don't need to remove the toilet seat and cover, just place it in front of the toilet tank.

I can't say enough great things about this riser. My husband has cancer and we just can't afford to have a taller toilet installed. We had an old riser that had a much smaller hole and it was messy and disgusting. This Vive toilet riser with bars saved us a lot of money. It actually came pretty quick too. It was easy to assemble and install. Even for me. It's perfect for my husband and it has made his life better. It's the little things folks and the bars are sturdy and help him to get up. This unit is easy to clean too. This is a bargain too when you price with a plumber what a new toilet costs. This was a great purchase. You can tell the Vive is a great company with great customer service too. I will go to them for any of our future needs concerning the care of my husband.This is a journey with good and bad days but this toilet seat has greatly helped us to have better days.

This seat riser is wonderful for old people like me with severe arthritis in the knees! Easy to sit down on and get up from! Reduces the pain to almost zero! Very easy to install in 5 minutes or less. It can be installed without tools but I used a straight blade screwdriver to speed up the process! Works every bit as well as a $350.00+ handicap toilet and far cheaper! A quality product at a reasonable price, fast shipping!
