Privacy was a big concern for our team. This lock was a great addition to our industrial space renovation. The larger indicator window makes it easy to see if a space is occupied, and the push-button design is simple for everyone to use. Definitely a smart purchase!

Our architect selected this lock as it has a visual occupancy sign and it’s the only ADA lock on the market. It fits great and now we don’t need to knock on the door or pull the handle to see if somebody is inside the restroom.

Good ADA door lock with a push button and a much bigger indicator window than others I’ve seen. It makes it easy to see if the restroom is occupied at a glance. We’ve started using these in our office, and I’d definitely recommend them.

Not made for heavy use with a business. It broke within 10 months and one of the same locks had locked someone in the room for over an hour. Had to get a professional to install a proper lock. Would not recommend unless you use it once a day to be safe.

Not made for heavy use with a business. It busted within 6 months and someone got locked in the room for over an hour until a professional had to remove it and replace it with something that works.

We installed this lock in a medical office, and it's been a great addition. The IN-USE/VACANT indicator makes it clear when a room is occupied, which has reduced interruptions and confusion for our patients. They’re sturdy, easy to use, and meet all the compliance requirements we needed. Overall, a practical and reliable solution for busy spaces

Really like the occupied/vacant feature. I could tell it wasn't built well when we first got it but I thought I would give it a chance. We have had it for just over a year (13 months) and it has now broken. The lock button started creeping out/not locking yesterday, and today parts on the inside broke completely. This was being used in a high volume staff bathroom. We do have a second one in the client bathroom that so far is still functioning, it does not get as much use.

Nice quality in-use indicator lever-lock. Easy to replace a previous grade 1 lockset, 1/2h max. My one complaint and I'm not sure if there is a way around this as I didn't read the instructions......is one can open the door and then lock it from the inside button and when it closes behind you, it doesn't unlock or stays locked. If this happens all you need is a larger regular screwdriver to unlock it from the outside, but it would be nice if it had unlocked like the grade 1 Schlage I replaced with this lock with.Another minor complaint is when you push the button to lock the lock, it has to spin behind your finger to spin the indicator to OCCUPIED. Guess there probably isn't a way around this and if you didn't need the ADA push button but rather could get by with a turn lock mechanism, you wouldn't notice but I needed the push button lock and with that version, the button has to spin behind your finger when you push the button to lock. All in all I'm quite satisfied with this IN USE indicator privacy lock and will probably purchase several more.Oh one other negative with the push button lock is they are handed, meaning you have to carry two different versions of the lockset, one for RIGHT handed doors and one for LEFT handed doors, non-ADA non-pushbutton versions just have one version. Not a big deal for a homeowner just replacing one lock but it means I have to carry the 2 different options as I never know what I might run into.

The lock is solid and works well once you get it installed properly. My only issue is that edges of the handles are a little sharp, so a uncomfortable to grip.

I don't write many reviews, but this product is maddening! We purchased 6 of these supposed commercial grade door locks for bathrooms at our office building. We loved the product while it worked. One indicator stopped working after one year. Then two more stopped working a couple of months later. Very poor value for the money. We are now just waiting for the other 3 to go any day now. We were offered 50% off a complete replacement lock from the manufacturer on the first broken one. On the subsequent other broken indicators, they sent us a replacement indicator tab and referenced a repair youtube video taken in China with no commentary. Attempting to complete the repair was a crazy waste of time. After 30 minutes of pulling apart, replacing the indicator and finally getting it put back together, it doesn't work. The broken indicator tab you can see in the picture is cheap/flimsy and simply breaks off very easily during use. Unless you want a ton of problems later, I would not buy this product.
