Caution. I ordered this pattern and it was missing 2 pages of instructions... I placed a replacement order and guess what? The second pattern is missing 2 instruction pages as well. Bummer.

I used the pattern to make my Chanel jacket. It doesn’t have a 3-part sleeve but I was able to draft my own using a tutorial on Pinterest.

I've used a few patterns to create French-style jackets. This one is nicely uncomplicated, so it's perfect when when I want to whip up a quick jacket for a friend or family member. I'm not a huge fan of the yoke-style lining, but that's easy to change. When I don't want to bother with a complex 3-piece sleeve, this one's 2-piece is easy to work with. I usually cut it on the bias for an easier fit.If you're looking for something more traditional Chanel-like, V8804 is a better choice. However, this pattern makes a lovely jacket with a nice, comfortable fit.
