Work moved to a usb voip device, was overhead where I had bought myself a single ear device, it's connection to USB did not fit so I searched and found this one pictures provided a good idea it was going to work and it did.

Easy to hook up a Plantronics headset when going from an Avaya desk phone to a softphone set up. No need for a USB headset.

We purchased this unit to try and use our normal VXI headsets with our computers. The call sound as a "Tin" or metal sounding tone. Compared to an actual USB headset, it was not a good and not what our group opted to use. If call center quality is not required and you just need to make calls one in a while, it would work.

This works great. Plugged into the plantronics QD headset and installed to computer. Now I can use the headset with the soft phone software on my laptop. Cheaper than buying a brand new usb headset
