I usually spend $50ish on stomp pads. I place them under the toe, and heel, and it's pretty perfect imo. I'm a older guy, but I can skate a sled-hill-sized-slope np with these.

My son really wanted this design for his snowboard, however after installing them and he went to the MT with them on, they are very small and do not do the job at all. They are just for looks. He changed them out right away.

Good stick and useful height so that your boot can grip, but by the end of the season I lost two. Wish they had a bit more longevity.
