Great first impressions (update to come - see update at the bottom)The pictures don't quite do this thing justice. I assembled this thing the day it arrived. The base is very sturdy. The tripod poles at the bottom are thicker and more heavy duty than I thought. It was very easy to assemble and will only get faster with more experience. It packs up nice and compact for must easier storage and travel.I was debating buying this item for a very long time worried about quality. These types of equipment are extremely expensive and this was the most reasonable out of all of them. I really needed something that would be durable and easy to transport. As soon as I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. I also have their vball net / catch system setup and that's been nice too.FIRST IMPRESSIONS:Pros:- Easy to assemble and disassemble- Very portable (this is important for me because our vball club doesn't own a practice facility. So I need to be able to transport it all the time.- Base is very sturdy.- This thing can get really tall. Can be easily adjusted for preferred passing / setting heights.- It can be angled using the velcro straps to hold it in place.Cons:- The punch holes on the base weren't sanded / smoothed out in the manufacturing process so putting it together at the beginning was a little tough as the poles just seemed to get stuck. You had to really put and twist to get it to go all the way in. This unfortunately results in scraping the paint off immediately.- The bag isn't as good of a quality as I would like. I'm not sure how long it'll last with the edges of the poles moving around - but we shall see. I'll probably end up looking for a third party bag that has some lining in it for more protection. But it gets the job done well enough.*I will get pictures and more media up soon. So for now it's just what it looked like in the box.**UPDATE**I'm very pleased with it. Sets up in a couple minutes (even faster when you have someone to help). It'll get faster as I get more confident. Especially comparing the price of this things to all the other ones out there, this is fantastic. Angling it is very quick and easy with the velcro. It's sturdy and currently happy that I decided to purchase it. Now my setters can get more focused practice and not have to chase balls as much. From a passing standpoint as well it's nice. I see it trigger a little more confidence and focus to really try and get it into the target. I'll call this a 4.5 stars due to the bag and the slight defects in the punched holes. But it doesn't stop the functionality at all.

Upon opening the package, poles have rust on them. This may only last one season of training.

The base is very sturdy and heavy. Basically very storable if you disassemble and reassemble every use. But we just separate the top netting from the base and store the two pieces for quicker set up.

My daughter is a setter on her team. We use this net to practice her sets. I wish we can adjust the size of the opening to gain more precision but we have learned to just aim for one side of the net for that. It is a great tool for players to get a sense of where the ball should go.

New to the club volleyball world and wanted to have something at home that my youngest could use and this has been perfect! Took a little bit to figure out the mechanism but once I got it all put together, it is easy to put up and take down. Great tool/asset for athletes!

I recently tried out the Anything Sports Volleyball setting trainer and found it to be a pretty impressive tool. The trainer is cool and works very nicely, allowing me to practice my setting skills with ease. However, I did notice that the instructions provided with the trainer were a bit lacking in detail. It would be great if they could be made more descriptive, so that users can fully understand how to use the trainer effectively. Other than that, I was impressed with the trainer's overall quality. It is made of durable and sturdy material that seems like it will last for a long time.

I've played Varsity volleyball in H.S., recreational volleyball in college, and now I play twice a week in adult volleyball after work. I love volleyball and I'm so happy that my daughter made it to the Modified girl's team and she wants to get better to try out for Junior Varsity this Fall.I bought the best outdoor volleyball net that money can buy recently so I can set it up at a local park to play with my friends and even my daughter but this volleyball setting trainer by ANYTHING SPORTS is one of my favorite volleyball gears I ever got!It comes with a storage/carrying bag where everything fits nicely, which is big plus but each bar is labeled with a sticker so it's very straight forward to put it together. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed how heavy and sturdy the tripod base legs were, which is great for stability and for safety reason as well.This gear not only enables you to practice accuracy but also the ideal height of the ball passed or set. The height of the basket can be adjusted and can be setup as high as 11ft, which is great for setter and passing practice as you do want the passer and setter to pass or set that high. When used for younger children, it can be setup at much lower height so it's really perfect for any ages. I also appreciate that the basket can be tilted using the attached velcro strap for pulling and securing it against the frame. In my opinion, it's best to practice without tilting and angling the basket but tilted angle is ideal for quick sets.I did find a bit annoying time to time that the volleyball sometimes get stuck on the "Y" frame rather than coming all the way down to the bottom of the net but this isn't ta deal breaker, especially when compared to a similar setter trainer net by PowerNet that is almost as twice as more expensive than this one.I honestly don't think the seller or the marketing person knows about this product because some of the pictures have a person serving or hitting the volleyball towards this trainer net, which is simply not how this net can be used or even possible. This trainer net is really for setting and passing practice. It's more for setter than passer but it's still great for passing practice for accuracy and perfect loft on the passing balls.My only concern is that the basket and the net will eventually wear and tear so I hope that seller will sell just the net or basket so they can be easily replaced after years of usage. Other than that, this is the best trainer you can buy to practice for perfect set and pass!

This is a sturdy device that is easy to use and genius in its' simplicity. Our setters can practice without chasing balls across the gym, and without having to use other players to retrieve balls. I see a big improvement to our setters next year using this device. Setup and takedown is also very easy.Recommended.
