They do not have a wiring diagram of what wire goes on to what terminal on the four-wheeler. Definitely sending it back due to this issue.

first unit received was defective for overcharging the battery system at 15.5+ Volts second unit received had 6.33 volt output.

For my 2000 Polaris 330 Trail boss. Works good. Wire colors don't match exactly and connectors are too small but easily opened up larger. See photos.
