This is nice compact humidifier and it is perfect for my boys' room. The light is perfect for sleeping and provides a nice cozy vibe for them at night. The water capacity isn't that much but it is perfect for a night of use and avoids having water just stagnant inside. It is pretty powerful and creates a lot of mist but can also be adjusted according to your needs.

Can't find much to like about this, it's small, hard to line up when refilling, leaks, doesn't perform at all. Terrible purchase, will be returning and looking for something different this winter.

This is a perfectly compact humidifier for small spaces. It holds a good amount of water that lasts long when used in smaller rooms - we're currently using it in our living room and it's the perfect size. I love the flickering light, it gives a nice ambiance in our living room. It only has one button that controls 4 settings so you have to click through to get the setting you want - high/low, flicker/non flicker combinations. I do think it's a bit noisy when you have it on the flickering setting so I think it would be distracting if you wanted the flickering as a nightlight if used in a bedroom or watching a movie. Overall, I think this is a great humidifier with the features that it offers.

This humidifier works well. Even on low setting it used a lot of water. I love the optional candle light you can have going. I had this set up in my room and used the candle light overnight but had to turn it off in the middle of the night because it’s kind of bright and kept waking me up. It wasn’t directly beside me either, it was across the room and still woke me up numerous times. Feels very well made and the leather strap is a nice touch.

This humidifier is somewhat small at two gallons capacity from it's .55 gallon tank and it does regularly run out of water each night after about 12 hours on the low setting. We typically only bring out the humidifier to use when we have cold and cough symptoms so it still fits our needs well. The unique feature of this humidifier is that it includes an ambient light mode that has an artificial flickering style light that mimics a candle and does add a nice ambience.There are only 4 settings, which much be cycled through, high/low with the light on/off. I would prefer a knob or controls that allowed for fine setting of both the water vapor and the light brightness and thus can only give it 4 stars. Overall this humidifier still does it's job fine and it looks nicer than some others we have had. I have had no issues with filling, setting it up or running it through the night.

I get super dry skin when the winter months come and the heat goes on. So I’m always looking for ways to pump a bit more moisture back into the air — and into my skin. I know the Vornado brand from a couple of high quality fans we have, so I wanted to try this.Overall, we have been quite pleased. The unit is pretty compact and nicely designed, so it looks good out in the open — more of a spa kind of feel than an industrial appliance. Of course, throw on top the lighting effects (sort of like a dim candle in the middle of the water chamber) and you really get that vibe. It’s nice.This is a cool mist device, so if you put your hand over the top, you won’t feel any heat. My experience is that the full container lasts a good number of hours. Probably 4+ hours my usage on high, but I didn’t time it scientifically, so don’t take my word for it. ;)There are a couple of usage quirks to be aware of. For one, there are four usage modes — high and low and both with and without the light on. You basically hit a but to cycle through them, but it’s hard to tell whether you are at high or low output mode unless you cycle back to off and go through the rotation again. Also, I didn’t find it perfectly easy to reseat the water chamber in the base the first time. But once I got the hang of it, it was fine.So overall, we are quite pleased. And my hands are pleased as well as they are a little less dry and cracked thanks to this. And I like the spa vibe in the background of my zooms. It’s another good Vornado product to manage our air flow and quality.

The Vornado Votiv 7 is a great humidifier for its size, and it looks good too! My heating system creates an extremely dry environment and this humidifier is great for any area of the house, personally I love it for the living since it’s compact, functional and looks good.Appearance - the light creates a relaxing vibe, and it fits into the room more as part of the decor and doesn’t stand out as a functional machine for the air.Functionality - has two mist settings and can run for up to 13 hours. It does a great job adding moisture to the air and is easy to use.Value for the price - this is where you need to question why you are buying it. If you’re buying it so you have a humidifier that looks good and can blend into the decor of your space then this is a good deal. However if you’re buying it as just a humidifier and could care less about looks then this is a rather pricy piece given its humidifier features. For slightly more you can buy a humidifier with more a larger tank, more options and precision humidity control.Overall opinion - I just started using this so I can’t speak to the longevity of it but based on my experience so far, I would recommend it to friends and family if they wanted a humidifier for functionality and appearance. It checks all the boxes and looks good doing it. But personally, as someone who regularly climbs into bed only to realize I didn’t fill the humidifier, I would recommend a bigger unit for the bedroom since it will need filled less often and likely offer more settling like a sleep timer or sensor on/off based on room humidity level.
