These belong to 99 cents store. Sponges are non-existent, handle is too short, trim is peeling off.Basically it's a piece of plywood with a thin layer of rubber. No spin, no grip, no nothing

This paddle is the best defensive paddle I have used. You can easily return some wicked shots by your opponent.

We bought a ping pong table during the quarantine not knowing anything about how to play. Purchased these so that four of use could play at once. These are much better quality paddles than the ones that came with our table. They are a little heavier not to heavy but you can feel them in you hand. The handles are better sanded and there is padding on both sides. The balls that came with them I'm told are much better than the cheap ones I bought at 60/$10. I don't' notice a difference in them but my family says they bounce better.

The paddles work well, but they had a few bumps on the paddle right out of the box and the wood doesn't feel very polished. Good paddles for the money though.

No wear after over a year of having these paddles. Used in a college dorm by many individuals, now have a safe place in an apartment. Still used once in a while but absolutely no wear on the paddles, rubber still in great condition. Mind you people have thrown these and not been particularly gentle, yet they are still in wonderful shape. I can see some fraying occurring if people are really brutal to these. But for standard recreational players these paddles are a fantastic choice.
