The push plate was easy to install. It has a good quality finish. It should hold up to heavy use.The size is good for the door mount.Good value for the money.

We have a wooden sliding door that separates one section of our home from a section with two large puppies. When the puppies want to get into the section of the house with us, they scratch at the door continuously. This is destroying the door.I previously put some clastic push plates on the door, but the puppies started to bend the ends of them with their nails. So, now I have gone with these stainless-steel push plates that the puppies will not be able to bend at the corners.These come with one side being white and one side being a natural brushed metal look. These are fairly thick and very strong. I screwed these into the door keeping the white side outward. With these in place I intend to re-paint the door white. I know these are much stronger than the plastic ones I was using so they will hold up better and protect our sliding door from any additional damage.
