Even though the valve cover gasket has protection from the bottom and top, it is still a very delicate and fragile component- that is prone to damage. The gaskets them selfs are good but the packaging terrible. I had to hang the gaskets up for hours to get the shape back.

This was a quality product, but unfortunately it was not the correct gasket set for my car's engine. It took a trip to O'Reilly Auto Parts to find out why, as it was supposed to be correct. Who knew there are 2 different engines for a 2013 Honda Crosstour with the 3.5 litre V6? Not me. Of course I discovered this after the engine was opened up, and there wasn't a correct version to be had locally. I was able to order the front set on Amazon (half the parts for twice the price) and get it the next afternoon. Had to miss a day of work and get ferried back and forth 3 more times at 60 miles each, but it worked out in the end. Of course this was not the sellers fault, and I will certainly order from them in the future if the need arises.If you do have a Honda with this engine, make sure to get the 4 digit code which denotes your specific type before ordering any engine replacement parts. You'll save yourself some unnecessary headaches!
