Not sure if anyone has done their research, but these are not legal in most states. Especially here in Texas. I’m returning mine because of that. Law states all firearms must be holstered. Please do your research on your local gun laws. Although it’s a great product and I really wanted to use them I can’t. I will still rate a 5 star for great quality and easy install.

This is a relatively large hunk of plastic and magnet- Not really the best idea for a moving vehicle as inertial forces being what they are in a car crash?But mounting it in other home/office locations makes sense...and it will allow quick downward racking before presenting to load a "safe" chamber to hot.My sister was having trouble racking a slide so I put a small handle on it to pull back manually or shove it straight down on a stable surface edge like a desk or countertop and viola! Easy pistol rack!!So it is unique, versatile and may be indispensable to some.

Comes with wrong screws. Gave me drywall screws instead of flat surfaced head. Obvious 3d print without testing function. Doesnt hold weight of gun with just magnets alone. Hit a bump and gun falls down right away. I like the idea but it’s not designed specifically for s&w m&p 9mm. Will not do its job. I would not recommend at all. I can’t return right now because of weather but otherwise I would. Luckily I have ways to make it work but if you don’t. I wouldn’t. Needs proper screws and either better magnets or a way to keep him from falling off. A redesign would be best. Ultimately disappointing purchase.

Lives up to the hype. I first saw these magnetic mounts on YouTube ads. I thought it was a good idea so decided to try one. Best mount I've ever had for a pistol, hands down.I also bought a Cojo mount and installed them at the same time in my truck. The cojo mount works ok for my glock but I just use it to keep an extra magazine handy. It wasn't bad, it's just the phantom mount is that much better.In the phantom mount I keep my glock 23 with a light on it. It holds the gun very securely in the mount. Being within easy reach right in front of my knee I just have to grab the pistol, push down and pull the gun towards me. It's locked and loaded. I don't like to carry on a loaded chamber. Some people do and that's fine for them.
