Very nice material for privacy. It's basically the same "honeycomb" material you see in the back of cars that shades small kids. I put this material all throughout the rear windows of my Tacoma for security (Yes that's legal in my state) and I have felt very safe with the addition. None of the crckheads can see into the rear of my vehicle so they don't bother trying to break in :D Plus the thermal effect it has is quite impressive, atleast a couple of degrees difference while parked in the sun during the summer.

Got this to put on a work van windows so people can't see whats inside. BUT you can see clearly into the windows from the outside. Waste of money. Only thing good was it was easy to put on.

Installed on vehicle glass,a little soapy water on the window kept it from sticking, so I could move it into place, been in the garage all night, we will see how it does in the rain later

Living in Arizona, I needed something for the back windows of my work truck to block the intense sun that will be here soon. This should help a bunch. I did have quite a bit of trouble during the installation. I made a template and cut out the shape of the window, thinking I could hold it in place and then peel off the backing, but I found that rather difficult. I continued to try and stick it on straight only to peel it off and try again. I must have done that a half a dozen times per window. That said it definitely adheres well and is fairly durable. It has been on for a couple months now and still looks as good as it did when I finished it. I have another truck and I might try cutting it oversize and then trim it to fit after it is on. Overall, I am very pleased with the final results.

I purchased this before and installed it on the outside. It was difficult getting it around my rear wiper, but it worked great to keep direct sunlight from getting into my vehicle. The problem came when it rained. It’s very hard to see out of when it rained and keeping it clean was difficult due to dirt getting in all the little holes. After removing it I purchased the film again, but this time I put it on the inside of the windows. This allows me to put decals on the outside, it doesn’t get dirty like my exterior and the rain does get caught in the little holes, affecting my vision. Wish I’d thought to install it inside the first time. Instillation was easier and faster and it looks nicer. It keeps people from seeing into the back and keeps direct sunlight off my dog. Very happy with this product.

I first very thoroughly cleaned my van windows using plain water on microfiber cloths.Next I made templates of my mini van rear windows out of freezer paper.I then used these templates to trace the outline on the white grid side of the product. Ta make the mirror image window on the opposite side of the van I simply flipped the template over. The directions say that one can slid this film...NO, it adhered immediately to my windows upon contact. So, working from the right side of the window I removed the backing 6 inches wide from top to bottom. I then fit the film in place beginning with the upper right hand corner, sliding my hand down towards the lower right hand corner.Next I reached behind the film and grasped the white backing paper and gently pulled it towards the left while using a piece of plastic to smooth the film top to bottom as I continued to remove the backing. What I did not like is that the film is buckled on the white backing paper in several areas, meaning that the film is larger than the backing. Please refer to the photos I have posted. As yet, I have not taken a hair dryer to the windows to securely adhere the film. That said, it would be an incredible pull to remove it.UPDATEI am impressed at just how much these window films reduce the amount of heat buildup inside of my van parked in the sun!

It was very easy to apply, and it works as advertised. The 17.9 x 48 inch is just enough to do the rear windows on my Hyundai Santa Fe. I really was impressed by it. I recommend!

It wasn’t the easiest thing to put on. Maybe just the lack of experience on my part. When I did get it on the window, I found it hard to see through the perforated holes. It probably takes some time to get use to.

For me it was hard to install. The good thing is it didn't' need to be perfect. Seems to be doing what I wanted but wasn't exactly as I thought. Form what I have seen, things like this is just perforated vinyl and they stick to windows without any adhesive by just getting all the air out of them. If you go by a business that has advertising on their windows and look at it, this isn't that. That's what I wanted. But it worked and the price was OK.
