Applying vinyl wrap material on a complex car component like a rear air-dam is not easy. After multiple attempts I got a marginally acceptable outcome. You have to develop a knack / skill to apply vinyl material to get a perfectly smooth surface finish. I was fun trying to do it.

Glue it’s the worse. It’s not staying on place. I did clean the part that I’m trying to wrap with alcohol. But it’s not working

I have used other companies similar product in the past to recover musical drums with ok results. I gave this a try & was blown away by how great it was! Virtually no air bubbles applying & those that did occur easily removed.I’ve ordered more to re-do drums I’d recovered earlier.

The vinyl material itself looks great and is thick enough to be durable; yet the paper behind it, is easy to cut through without pressing to hard on the razorblad itself. The material also allows for quick correction when you apply minumum amounts of heat! The material is flexible enough to allow for mistakes and makes corrections without having to cut new pieces and start all over. It also allows for a generous amount of stretching while appling heat around curves and corners! Like any material, it will "thin-out" the more you heat, pull and, strecth the material. The plastic protective film is ok! At times (especially in concave curves going into a recesses) the protective film can wrinkle however; the vinyl material itself, will not be wrinkled. So; removing the protective film is necessary when making application to the vehicle. I do highly recommend the brand!

Great product and nice red. Matched very well to the red I was looking for (I don't think I could find closer match). I was told the car I am wrapping was painted Porsche Guards Red (about 20 years ago) but in reasonably good shape. I've used Vvivid Vinyl before so I knew what to expect (I am just getting started as a hobbyist though). I really like their wrap in terms of quality and price. Price on Amazon was great for 25 foot roll compared to normal price, but I think this is closeout. What I received was in excellent condition, was NOT an orange red I've read about in reviews, and all 3 rolls matched color. I expect this is simply close out vinyl because they are always coming out with new and updated colors, which I think is great.

First time wrapping a whole car, I've done smaller wrap jobs but never a whole car. Watch plenty of tutorials if you're new to wrapping they helped tremendously. Heat gun is a must on corners, also do yourself a favor and pickup knifeless tape, it makes life easier. The wrap is very workable, I tried to use as little heat as possible and just glassed the panels, only on corners did I apply heat. Also make sure and post heat, it'll save you from having to do touch-ups. Beautiful color, I took a picture with a 2021 Crosstrek in Pure Red to show that it's even brighter than that. I bought 3 25x5ft rolls and had most of the 3rd roll left over. I plan on wrapping my other cars with VVIVID in the future.Update 4/1/21: I just wrapped my GTO as well, however I ordered the same exact wrap off of this listing and they sent me a different shade of red as pictured. Super disappointing because I already had a few panels wrapped in the old red before I got the new stuff. Had to re-wrap but I sent back the different shade and they got me the right stuff.

This is the 4th or 5th time I bought a 1x5 sheet of this vinyl (different colors each time). This is an extremely good value on good vinyl. I like the smaller sheets for doing small trim projects (like graphics for automotive wheels). The colors offered are really good (and true to the color shown in the product pictures). Once applied, the vinyl stays in place (even on wheels that experience heat, cold and Michigan winters).

I’ve used VViVid vinyl wraps before for my car and I stand by their products. Very reliable brand and in my opinion better than 3M vinyl or any other vinyl brand. I live in Florida, I used this red gloss vinyl to wrap my interior trim and during the hot scorching summer heat it still holds together. I also have carbon outside my car and after months that too is holding up. Very easy product to apply. Hardly any heat was needed except for the edges. Very stretchable and holds up nicely without ripping. Pulls off well to adjust vinyl without leaving adhesive behind. Really recommend all VViVid vinyl.
