I have been wrapping for about 7 years and have always used 3M or Avery D. This stuff was on sale and I needed to wrap something with it.. smaller piece and should be easy. NOPE. not when you use VVivid.Let me just say the flaw comes with their adhesive. Jesus, I barely lay it on and it adheres. Now this would be good in most situations but when wrapping you have to get it laid on nicely and AD and 3M can easily pull up and reset, then lay it right.. This stuff just grabbed and when I went to bring it up to reset the angle.. NOPE, just left adhesive all over. razor, clean and try again.. same thing. Tried using a little Vinyl cheater juice and got it done but not with a lot of flaws, this adhesive is not smooth. I know I laid the thing like glass but after hitting it with a heat gun far enough away to NOT burn it. It had bumps all over like their adhesive clumped in areas. weird ones too like on flat flat areas and not on curved.Maybe a flaw but I wrapped a dash once with their carbon fiber and it was the same thing.

I applied this tape to my car wheels and used a heat gun to warm it up since it was around 50 degrees outside. Went back out an hour later and some of the strips were loose and flopping in the wind. Why?

The tape I received was made by 3M, a great product that did the job.

I used these to add white stripes to my car. It works except the edges are not cleanly cut.

The edges of this tape is so jagged. It won’t provide a smooth, clean finish to your project. It appears that someone used a saw to cut this tape and wrap it around some cardboard that was also cut with a saw. Returning

The roll was clearly cut on a bandsaw and the edges are rough.

I don’t believe this is the air release version it’s definitely a calendar material I believe it’s their calendar professional series and it’s rough edges like it was cut from a second hand roll of scrap. I’ve purchased quite a few rolls from vvivid for car projects and this is the worst quality I’ve ever received from them. I would have returned it but it ended up a ball of trash and not worth the gas to go to the post office.
