VViViD Vinyl is designed for DIY’ers, offering premium wraps with industrial-grade durability and effortless installation. Whether you're customizing your vehicle or working on a professional project, VViViD provides the perfect balance of quality, flexibility, and ease of use.

VViViD Vinyl Product Features

self-healing

Self-Healing Upon Heat

Hybrid plastisol coating creates a self-healing surface, protecting against swirls, abrasions, and scratches. Heat gun removes most damage.

Paint protection adhesive

Paint Protection Adhesive

Our solvent-based acrylic adhesive cures in 40-ft evaporation tunnels, ensuring it won’t damage paint and allows repositioning without harm.

air release

Air-Release Technology

VViViD’s air-channels vanish over time, ensuring a strong bond that won’t lift, peel, or allow contaminants and moisture to seep in.

prevents sun damage

Prevents Sun Damage

Advanced UV absorbers and light stabilizers protect against fading, cracking, and sun damage, with new improvements every quarter.

  • Measure the longest points of your project, keeping in mind VViViD vinyl is always 5ft wide. Use a sizing chart for reference, buy a little more extra vinyl for errors, and use seams for large surfaces if needed.

  • Yes! Your vinyl wrap can survive winter with proper care. Use a ceramic coating like FUSE for protection, wash regularly with a vinyl-safe soap, avoid scrapers, and don’t use hot water or high-pressure washers. Park in a garage when possible.

  • You'll need a heat gun to stretch and set the vinyl, a knife for precise cuts, a squeegee to smooth out air bubbles, buffers for the squeegee edges to prevent scratches, and a tucking tool for clean edges and tight spaces.

  • At VViViD Vinyl, our wraps are more affordable than paint, fully reversible, and protect your car’s original finish. Unlike paint, wraps resist chips, UV damage, and scratches. Plus, they install faster and offer endless design possibilities!

  • Yes, you will need a heat gun as the vinyl's adhesive is heat activated. Heat softens the vinyl which makes it more pliable and stretchable, making it a lot either install. Post heating also contributes to the long term durability of the vinyl wrap.

My first time ever wrapping a car and it came out amazing! the material was easy to work with (especially doing it alone) I went with gun metal grey. I recommend the 100 foot roll if it’s your first time incase you have any mishaps.

I’ve been wrapping my cars and bikes for many years. This year I decided to re wrap my e-bike in a different colour for the summer. This wrap in particular is not as sticky to begin with when placing but after heating with heat gun it sticks. What I noticed with this one is if you constantly heat it and peel to adjust for wrinkles/ bubbles it can crack and rip in half when pulling it dry. Motorcycles are really tricky to begin with already wrapping due to all the curves on the fairings. It was tough to use but it turned out alright and I’m happy with the colour

I really am having a fun time using this stuff. I've bought several rolls of it in various sizes and colors. So far the colors are true to form and very consistent. The quality of the material is very good. Do your surface prep meticulously or you'll be unhappy. Get it squeeky clean and no particles on surface as you lay down the wrap. It adheres well with heat. I've used both heat gun and hair dryer depending on how hard I'm trying to stretch the material. If you use a heat gun be really careful. It'll go from stretchy to burnt up quickly.I've done 2 cars and a truck in various places. All vehicles I wrapped wheels. That is tough and none came out perfect but all came out good. I've done larger relatively flat panels with no problems. Cut the wrap down to 1, 3, 5 inch wide peices and created my own custom stripes that look good. The worst part that I have not mastered is compound curves in 3 dimensions. Like the top or bottom corner of a panel or side view mirror etc... Very, very difficult to master. 2 dimensional like the curve of a 90 degree turn between 2 flat panels just requires a bit of experimenting and effort.Update: 4/21/23Just to update I've included some pictures. I've made custom wrap for my wheels, side cover replacements, stripes, and done a couple of additional cars now. This stuff is too much fun!

Received product 1 day ahead of time which was great for customer the color was spot on and looks amazing but product was damaged had razor blade cuts in it that were not visible until application to vehicle emailed vivid and received no response and Amazon wouldn't allow replacement for damaged product unless old product was returned which is not possible since it had been applied to vehicle already and damaged was not noticeable until after application. Very disappointed in vivid for this because now customer has to wait for vehicle to be finished as I try to gather funds to order more I am a struggling business and funds to purchase more vinyle when I purchased enough to do job just isnt their and vivids lack of response to this is very troubling as I try to use only their products for my wrap jobs since its so well made.

First order I placed was fantastic from color to how easy it is to use. (6ft x 5ft)Second order (1ft x 5ft) I used for door handles and a trunk inlay and it wasn’t until I finished that I realized I was given the wrong color. I’m glad I used this for small things like door handles.3rd order is already 4 days late. I’m just hoping I get the right color at this point.4th order I’m getting Thursday 2.18.21. Will update then. This started off as a good experience with price, delivery and installation. but it’s slowly starting to disappoint. Not the product or installation, but the late delivery/no updates, to receiving a different color than what I asked. Get it together Amazon. I’ve never had a problem with you guys before.

This is great!!! While I didn’t use it as a wrap- I wanted a matte grey and something that would hold up.... and I couldn’t be more pleased!!! This is my Original drawn tattoo that has so much meaning to me .. (and now my kids will stop wondering if every silver challenger they see is mine lol so no more sneaking up! Ha!) Anyway- this stuff is thick, strong, sticks great! And the color is perfect!!!! I don’t know anything about wraps or how it would work for that... but this is high quality stuff! (I’ll update if I see curling or fading! Already been thru car wash and no issues)

So I did not expect this wrap to come out as good as it did but it totally exceeded my expectations! I only got the 6ft x 5ft roll to do my trucks hood as I wanted to try a small area first and see how it would hold up. My hood on my truck had messed up paint anyway so even if it didn't look good it still would've been a major upgrade regardless. I will say for a couple of rookies my buddy and I did okay but be forewarned vinyl can be a pain in the butt to handle and maneuver but you get kind've used to it after a while. It took us almost 2 hours just to do my hood. However the quality and color are great! I plan on purchasing more to finish out my truck.

I love the price, the color, the thickness of the material and the adhesive will stay sticky even after pulling it up and replacing it a couple times!Easy on the heat gun its not gonna shrink into the crevasse on its own!!3M knifeless tape, pre-wrap and some patients are bout as handy as that 12 pack it took me to finish my first fender without tearing it off and setting it on fire😂 Take your time, It's the only time most of us will be a rapper!!
