Solid fan kit for my 4-Tec, although it was a tight fit. Keeps my motor and ESC cool though and the fans are super quiet. Would recommend.

This item did not come with instructions... So after going on YouTube I figured out how to install it. First off you'll need to remove the motor and reposition it where the cables are down facing towards you as I have in the pictures. There are two screws mounting the plate to the motor, that's where you rotate it but make sure to leave screw hold on side uncovered. Then wire the dual fans using the supplied y-adapter. You'll run that to any available channel on your receiver. You'll need to remove the 4 screws to get to the receiver. In case you don't know that's where the other black red and white wires are going into. I plugged mine in below the LED channel 5. Then I reassembled everything and plugged in battery and powered on. The fans worked instantly.

Everything works fine it’s just I think the motor was too small and was a tight fit.

This dual motor fan just works much better than what I expected. It is very well crafted and in my case it matches the motor color and fits great without demounting the motor. I installed it on a Traxxas Stampede VXL and this system is much better than the one Traxxas sells for this purpose.If you own this vehicle or a similar one I recommend this product with no regrets. Price is also excellent.

I installed this on my traxxas slash 4x4 vxl and its easy to plug in and use make sure the connectors are plugged in all the way and are oriented right or the fans won't turn on. Needless to say, since i live in the desert and it gets hot and not to mention i installed the high-speed gearing i honestly think these fans don't do a whole lot I touched my motor after a long run and it seemed to be just ass hot which is very hot. Maybe user error but I would say go with the traxxas ones trustttt.

Got this for my new Traxxas RC10 Rustler Ultimate. Noticed it ran a little hot so I added these two guys and now we are keeping cool!

I have used 3 different brand and all failed in few month. All same quality with similar price.Most likely stop turning or plastic melt or fan came off. Not for high performance motor..because it is too hot.. fan hardware can not stand for the heat.
