This air filter is an exact fit for my Whirlpool refrigerator at a fraction of the cost. It filters odors as well as the Whirlpool filter. It does not come with an indicator to show when it needs to be replaced, but I just change it at the same time as I replace the water filter.

I thought this product was fine, I was just a little surprised it didn't come with the part that lets you know when it's time to replace it.

It would have been helpful to have the little gauge that came with the original, but since there were 2 filters in the package, I just wrote a note with the date of the install on the 2nd one so I could change it in 6 mo to a year as I had done before.
