I've never used a disc with the paper wrapped around the edge like this before. Really good at getting into inside corners and maintains it's shape better than a grinding wheel as it doesn't wear down unevenly in that application. A nice disc to have on hand for cleaning up welds for those of us who rely on paint to make us the welder we ain't.

Overview:I've been using the WA GRINDER Curved Edge Flap Discs for various grinding tasks, specifically designed for fillet welds and corner work. These discs are made from a mix of ceramic and zirconia, promising durability and high performance in aggressive grinding applications. The pack includes five 4-inch discs with a grit of 40, suitable for fitting standard arbors.Pros:- The aggressive nature of the discs makes them highly effective at removing material quickly, significantly speeding up work processes.- They fit well on standard arbors, making them easy to install and use on most angle grinders.- Durability is a standout feature; after multiple uses, there are no signs of the discs coming apart or shredding. This reliability also contributes to safety, preventing the potential hazards associated with disc failure.Final Thoughts:The WA GRINDER Curved Edge Flap Discs are excellent for anyone needing to perform precise and efficient grinding in corners and on welds. Their design and material composition make them particularly effective for tough grinding tasks, while their durability ensures long-lasting performance without the risk of premature wear or safety issues. These discs are highly recommended for professionals and DIY enthusiasts who require reliable and powerful grinding tools.

I recently tried these Curved Edge Flap Discs with my Dewalt DWE 402 angle grinder, and I must say, I'm impressed. The fit was perfect, snug, and secure. The standout feature for me has to be the curved edge design. It's a brilliant innovation for anyone who's struggled with inside corner sanding. This curve facilitates easier access and more efficient sanding in those hard-to-reach areas, making what was once a tedious task surprisingly straightforward. In terms of durability, these discs perform on par with the traditional flat discs I've used in the past. They hold up well under pressure, and while they're not indestructible, they offer a reasonable lifespan that aligns with my expectations for a disc of this grit and composition. The combination of ceramic and zirconia materials provides a good balance between aggressive material removal and wear resistance, which is what I look for in a quality flap disc.

I like the way these grind on the edge compared to typical flap disc's, but they wear much faster. Great contour for going over corner welds compared to hard or flap disc, but due to wearing quickly, I find myself not wanting to use them on flat welds or metal prep. This leads to alot more disc swaps which is aggravating. I may pick up a cheap grinder to leave these on or probably just stick to flap disc when these are used up. I like how they grind, but they need to last longer.

My husband does welding often and likes to polish the welds and parts. These flap disk sanders work very well to get into the radius’s. They seem to be holding up very well. Will be buying more of these in the future when he runs low.

This disc is advertised to help a welder dress the inside welds of a workpiece or a fillet weld. It definitely works better than a standard flap disc for this use although it doesn't get into small grooves very well. A weld on a 90° angle workpiece is dressed pretty nicely with this. I knocked off a star because it seems like it wears down a little quicker than I would like and it seems like it's made by gluing down all of the flaps so it's not really good for following a contour.

Won't fit a standard grinder arbor. The center hole is smaller than others. Save your money and buy something else that's not junk
