This works ok the only issue I have had is that the drainage holes are so small that they plug up really easily

Bugs do not climb up it. I've tried mealworms, superworms, waxworms, and dubia roaches. I've even baited the top of it and nothing climbs up. It's too deep for the chameleon to see inside, he ignores it and doesn't go after the bugs in it.

Chameleons can be a little difficult to feed crickets. This helps keep them in the container for ours to eat at his leisure. It is a plus that it has multiple ways to install. We have a screen enclosure which can be difficult to hang things in. He will even go look down inside to make sure they are all gone. The only complaint is the vented bottom allows calcium dust to get all over, but it’s necessary so it doesn’t hold water and does make it easier to clean and dry. Of note, if the crickets are rambunctious and you put more than a few in at a time, they can stack up on each other towards the top and jump to freedom. This just gives our chameleon the opportunity to strike more than one, but it is not escape-proof. Overall, worth the price to make feeding time easier.

I wish I had found this years ago. This is the absolute BEST feeder I’ve ever had for my Chameleon. No more crickets running wild in the cage, no more wondering how many crickets he actually ate and soooo much easier to add supplements now. HIGHLY recommend this to any pet owner that is feeding with live insects!!

These are great for keeping feeder insects in a single place so they can’t escape and hide all over your reptiles tank. I don’t use this one for a chameleon but rather a bearded dragon.

The bugs don’t really climb up it so I have to have another bowl in there. I was looking for something that the bugs would stop climbing out of but now they don’t climb at all but a good idea if they would climb it

My chameleon is eating from it. Finally he is eating crickets because they are in front of him. He is lazy. For meal worms you have to put it on a slant so they can crawl up on the grid. I recommend it.
