My husband used this first, i think he was making some kind of pork dish, and put it in the dishwasher.It was cracked af when i unloaded said dishwasher. I can't tell you when the cracking happened. But... I'm not terribly impressed. Prolly the hazy looking plastic holds up better.

This is a very well made product and I love the color..The best part is the little cleaning brush that is included, I've had basters before and if you don't have a bottle brush they are very hard to clean..

So I haven't used this turkey baster for it's traditional and conventional use. I removed the bulb and I use it to blow into paint for fluid art. It helps me create cells where paint has pooled in the center. If you are a fluid Artist (particularly a SheleeArt bloomer), you know exactly what I'm talking about. It works great for this purpose.
