About this item

  • 24.5 inch wide
  • 1 inch (25.4mm) diameter at center
  • 13 inch rise
  • Chrome plated steel

Ever want to pick up your dry cleaning while riding home from work? The Wald 8069 handlebar provides an industry-unique feature: clothes hanging compatability. With a meager rise of 13 inches, you could hang a half dozen shirts on the handles easily (provided you remember to stow the bags so they don't get caught in your spokes). This bar features the proven 1-inch clamp (25.4 mm), rises 13 inches to the handles, and measures 24.5 inches across. There are endzone uprights with shorter reaches than these pillars of chrome.

Took a folding 20 in bike and converted it to an ebike. Did not trust the stick with handlebars welded to it, just did not look safe. I removed them and added a long gooseneck and this 13.5 rise handlebar. looks and handles much better, and still can fold the bike into a neat little package. Great for us long fellows to stretch out a bike with.

April 22nd, 2021Wald 8069 handlebars on customized Huffy Cranbrook beach cruiser.Arrived in perfect condition.Installed them immediately, tightening down my solid steel two bolt handlebar clamp nice and tight with generous use of locktite blue on both the knurl and the two bolts.Used chrome polish on the handlebars next, and then put on grips, chingy-chingy, mirror, and then the headlight went on after this photo was taken. These handlebars have excellent quality steel, knurl, chrome, fit and finish. They are the perfect size and shape for upright sitting position. Bend and angle of grip area is just right. Hands are not too far apart with this configuration, plus, it's easy to get my bike back and forth through the front door of my home. These handlebars are exactly what I was hoping for. Good price, too.Very happy I bought them.PS:Saw some reviews whining about a little rust starting. You can buy a 12 ounce can of chrome polish and rust remover at Walmart for two dollars and change. Twelve ounces will last awhile.TWO DOLLARS AND CHANGEFor crying out loud, learn to take care of your stuff and stop whining.Sheesh !

I used this handle bar on my schwinn meridian electric trike. The OEM ones hit my knees when turning. This is a much better fit. Wish the ends were about a inch longer. Other than that they are perfect for my needs.

Used these handle bars to convert my mountain bike to a much more comfortable cruising bike. They allow me to sit straight up relieving all the pressure from my back and from my hands. The original handlebars put so much pressure on my hands and back from the angle in which I had to lean down, this height relieved all of that! When I ride I feel like I am floating through the air. These are awesome! I am 5'4" and the height is not too much for me at all, which was one of my concerns in buying these. Also, if you feel they are a bit too tall, you can always angle them towards you to bring them lower.

These bars are SOOOO comfortable on my old back- and work well on an old '81 Schwinn World Sport I built up that is two inches shorter than my usual size - 13 inches of rise is WAY up there, so you have to be careful the steering gets very responsive with a lever that tall- but the feel is great and no stress at all- the ends are much flatter and horizontal than the ends of the 10.5 rise #869 bars I also have- so there is discrepancy within similar part numbers. If you're changing bars you'll probably need longer cables then- I'm using a thumb shifter for a six speed rear cog which works very easily- if you've never used thumb shifters- I highly recommend them- your hands never have to leave the grips And there is enough room on the ends for the grips, the brake handles and the thumb shifter.

great size for a more comfortable position for road, mountain or beach bikes. Enables you to sit upright and to be upright while standing and pedaling Better than typical cruiser type bars which require you to bend your hands outwards. These may require a stronger stem w/ more/larger clamping bolts due to the greater leverage you can exert upon them.5 stars since they are made in the USA.

WORKED GREAT FOR A BIKE BUILT FOR 2 !!!!!!! with the OEM bars you had to bend over and way down to ride the bike. after installing these bars you could sit up and look around which was even better for the person in back so your not bent over into the front persons butt,,,,,after all, riding around on a bike you don't want to be looking at someones butt the whole time,,,, YES THEY WORKED GREAT AND ARE A HEAVY GRADE METAL ALSO.... VERY GOOD PRODUCT,,,,

I just put these on my 26" Electra rat rod. These are awesome. Automatically makes the bike look better. These are very comfortable too. Factory handle bars on a beach cruiser are tiring on the wrists, you have to bend yourhands outward for a grip, I hate that. These are straight with a slight bend, very comfortable on the hands. The size of the handle bars is good, not exaggerated. Plus you sit up, so it's a comfortable ride, you don't sit forward. I'm over 6', the ride is extremely comfortable. The price is awesome too. Perfect!
