I don't know why this projector stand has low rating but overall, it's a great stand. My projector weights over 8 pound and I have no issues.

This was perfect for us. Super easy to set up, and it’s sturdy, which we were initially skeptical about.

Way better than stacking the projector on a bunch of boxes. Bought on sale. This stand is solid. Has some weight to it and adjusts easily. Put together in 2 min. Worth the money.

I would recommend having a second set of hands to start. The base plate -- no joke -- is a manhole cover. It is SO heavy. You have to install the post perpendicular to the base and UPSIDE DOWN. It's difficult to hold the base and post and try to install the hardware at the same time. I had my husband hold the base while I installed the rest of the parts.Other than that, assembly was simple. It is a little beefy for my small projector. I'm fine with the look. The wire clip, though, is a bit useless. It's too large to manage the small cord that for my projector. It simply won't hold.I wrapped the cord around the post for storage. The clip does hold the lower (thicker) part of the power cord, but then there's no way for the transformer to sit. It wants to hang off the clip, which will stress the cord.I was able to wrap it in a way to stabilize the transformer. When the projector is in use, though, that will be on the floor, which means the smaller part of the cord will fly of its own accord since the clip won't hold it.Not deal breakers, certainly, but the clip could be better.

Almost damaged my new projector. Cannot keep it in position, the screw doesn’t hold a 3lbs projector.

This thing is so heavy. That's great if you have a heavy projector. Ours is not. We keep this on our patio to use, but it's a pain to move around. That's both good and bad.

I am really happy with this stand. Anyone who has a projector that isn't stationary knows the pain of positioning. This really is the way to go if you move your device regularly. We use them outside often and that can be a real chore. I like you can adjust it any way you need and it stays put nicely and it's stable.
