Great replacement for a '99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT sedan. Car in question has had this part rust out twice already, where it Y's to go to the two mufflers. Matched the one we removed perfectly (minus some hackery from a previous exhaust shop...), so I can assume that the old piece was a Walker too. I think one of the bends wasn't quite bent correctly, because the left muffler and tip didn't line up straight with the bumper opening, but after a little massaging of exhaust hangers on both this pipe and that muffler, it's barely noticeable. We scuffed this down and painted it with John Deere muffler black paint to hopefully hold off corrosion, at least for a little bit.Because of the price point, and the added complexity, the pipe is not mandrel bent, so the bends all have the little crush ripples. A turn off if you're building a better performing, free-flowing exhaust. But, for a stock replacement part on a car that's nearing 20 years old, it's really not that big of a deal.

After only 48 months on the vehicle, this tailpipe has totally rusted, and a large 3/8 inch dia. hole blew out just before the muffler on the one side! We are very meticulous with keeping the underside of the car washed in the Winter months, but to no avail. Most new exhaust pipes last at least 10 years even under the harshest conditions. The metal tubing gauge is paper thin............I'm requesting a FULL REFUND even now, so I can defray the cost to replace.

I should have read the other review first. I had the same problem and more. I purchased the resonator, "Y" pipe and both quiet flow ss mufflers. The left side muffler ended up being very close to the muffler hanger mounted on the body. Pushed muffler back into the pipe until it bottomed out. Then the stock exhaust tip now hangs lower than the right. Drove car and left muffler still rattled on body muffler hanger. Had to bend body muffler hanger down to prevent the hanger from hitting the seam on the top of the end cap of the muffler. I really expected more from a Walker system. Unfortunately stuck with it now.

Take care, pipe is about 1/2" to long for my grand prix and causes mufler to hit on the rear hangers
