I spent an insane amount of researching an outdoor rocking chair for my lanai. I LOVE this chair! It was very easy to put together, has sturdy hardware and has a lovely rocking motion. I am very happy with this chair.

Comfortable w/o pads, I am using a throw pillow. Amazing design for appearance, balance, size and strength. I'm 5'4", 185lbs. Sitting in chair, there are inches to spare on the seat and 4-6" at the arms. Just a little foot push provides nice rock and relief from back pain! I have the plain wood version for natural color of wood (relaxing) and appealing appearance plus texture to feel. Forget spa, gym, doctor, shrink, screens. Try reality and watch the world go by happily in this chair!

The chairs look nice, we ordered two chairs and the seat slats on one chair broke/cracked within a week, after very minimal use. The wood on the broken slats appeared to be dry and brittle and had hairline cracks throughout. Amazon sent a replacement chair and the representative assured us that we did not need to send back the original because of the damage, we had already tossed the box and did not have a way to repackage and take it to a UPS store for a return. Then it began, we started receiving emails that we would be charged if the return was not completed, when speaking to Amazon again today to inquire about the emails, they reverted their promise because the first person we spoke to did not email us "their promise" that we would not be charged for the replacement and no need to return the damaged product, they actually offered to provide the original representative we spoke to "additional training". In the end, Amazon is now arranging a UPS pick up (not sure if we will be charged for this yet), the damaged chair will be returned, but what a headache. Regarding the chairs, check the seat slats closely when assembling, most are ok, however if you see any cracks in the wood, we recommend returning it right away, as they will not hold up.

My husband was thrilled with these beautiful rockers. He said they were very easy to put together. The quality is excellent. Just a minor thing: I’m 4’11” and he is 5’5” and I rock it’s my tip toes. I’m sure this is not a problem for most on here. Lol. But I can’t place my feet on the ground: they could stand to be just a tad shorter. They look very classy sitting on our front porch. Highly recommend these!! The price can’t be beat.

My wife ordered this rocking chair. Arrived in good order, assembly was pretty quick, she likes it. She ordered another one for our son's fiancé - Christmas gift and unfortunately the wood "seat" slats are cracking, a couple almost to the breaking point. I've uploaded a replacement parts request - interested to see the response I get - hopefully positive.These rocking chairs are very nice and heavy duty. I work with a lot of wood and I'm familiar with challenges that come with building things from natural materials. I don't fault the seller - wood can be tricky. I am interested in how supportive they are for assisting me with getting the $160 rocking chair back in use.I'll update this review when I have additional info from the seller.UPDATE: I got a response from the seller - no replacement parts (slats or seat) is available. Disappointing for the money we spent on the rocking chair. Buyer beware - as others have noted - cracked slats are common. Look for a different rocking chair.UPDATE #2: I heard back from the seller again - I had asked about a replacement chair. They are sending one. Very pleased with the response. I'll update again once it arrives - the rocking chair is an EASY 5 rating - if slats don't crack or seller supports the product as they are mine now.
