The quality seemed ok but it supposedly fit my 2002 Outback with an h6 engine. It's inside diameter was too small. It required a lot of filing to make it fit. In this application I would just go with the dealer item.

This did not fit my 98 cherokee 4.0 when amazon said it does. The center hole was way to small to fit onto the exhaust manifold. No way possibly. Felpro 60836 is I needed. Fit perfectly. This does look like a quality gasket just does not fit my application

I hate these types of gaskets, i can never give them 5 stars. I ended up destroying it because i didn't clean the pipe it fit onto well enough. If i would have spent more time with my grinder it would have worked just fine. Still hate this type of gasket. After cleaning with the dremel well the one i got from bosal worked just fine.

Low rating because Amazon fit guide and other online guides aren't clear enough on the application for this gasket. The Walker 31362 gasket is 2" inside diameter. My application was a 1998 Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 engine. All online sources claim this gasket is the right one to use for my application, but it isn't!! The OEM gasket has a 2.25" inside diameter. There is no way this gasket will fit onto a 1998 Cherokee with a 4.0 engine unless Jeep used different sized pipes throughout that manufacturing year and I got the "other" size :)Other than the waste of time ordering and shipping the part only to find it won't work, the gasket looks solid and identical in every way to the one that came off the jeep EXCEPT that the inside diameter is a quarter inch too small. This is a solid chunk of metal, so it's not stretching to making up the difference in size.Found a ROL brand gasket at the local parts store PN# EG24675 that looks like it's the right size for my application with a 2.25" inside diameter. AMAZON FIX YOUR APPLICATION GUIDES!!

Gasket is exactly what is needed when replacing the resonator pipe assembly. It fit perfectly and is quiet, all that really matters. If in doubt, consult the Walker exhaust diagram to ensure you have all the proper parts, gaskets, and bolts. Best to order all new stuff when you are doing a job like this (but you already knew that didn't you?)Forget reusing the old one unless you just put it on recently. Mine was so far gone that it took a chisel and some whacks with the hammer to get them off.

This gasket was recommended by amazon with my purchase of 'Walker 55277 Front Pipe.' This is also the product listed on Walker's website for that pipe and my vehicle.During installation I discovered that the inner diameter of the gasket was more than 1/4" less than the diameter of the pipe. For a 2 1/2" pipe that is huge. I tried pushing, twisting, hammering, and dirty talk but nothing could get the gasket on the pipe. I was able to sneak the gasket off the old intermediate pipe and it fit and sealed without issue. I'm very disappointed but for $10 it just isn't worth returning.
