A transmission output speed sensor (OSS) error code popped up on my 2002 Ford Excursion. The OD light was flashing, and the car died. The easiest means to troubleshoot the code was to replace the sensor. This Walker sensor was roughly half the cost of the Ford sensor, and I have known for years that Walker made excellent exhaust components, plus I was not sure the OSS was bad, so I purchased this Walker sensor rather than the Ford unit. It fit perfectly, and fixed the problem.
