I was trying to match a spout faucet used on the sink in a remodel and this fits perfectly. Taking it out of the box, this has a nice feel to it. It's clearly made of a very solid metal, designed to last for a while, unlike the cheap / flimsy spouts and taps I keep finding in my local big box hardware stores.The connector is 1/2" NPT brass, and the box includes some PFTE tape so you can install it right away. The only thing I added was a dab of black silicone as a bead behind it to seal the edge from water.The final look is very sleek, and the finish seems very strong so hopefully will last a while.

It is easy to install and attach, and there is no leak. It is a great, sleek black color, and it has such a classy design.

As another user mentioned, there is little to no room for adjustment where you install the tub-spout. So have to make sure you have access to the back wall to ensure the valve screws in the correct position. Luckily for us we are renovating the room behind so the wall is wide open. We had our plumber make the necessary adjustment to flush this against the wall.The kids love the waterfall, and it fills the tub in very nicely. Also the flat surface allows for positioning your shower/soap etc. Or your tablet if you are taking a long bath. The build quality is solid and I am looking forward to using this faucet

Item arrived quickly,expertly packed,undamaged,and as described.Designed to be dramatic with a modern aesthetic this item will not disappoint.Having beautifully polished chrome finish this tub spout has the ability to enhance whatever bathroom it's displayed in.Constructed amazingly well,and with proper care it should last indefinitely,and look great for years to come.Priced competitively to similar items makes this brand affordable on almost any budget.The spout is true to its advertised size,although personally I find it's width to be a bit thick,as opposed to my original spout,and may take some getting used to.However all in all its a great piece that will be the envy of all who see it.In conclusion this is a reasonably priced,durably constructed item,that will look amazing,last for years,and won't break the bank.Hopefully those deciding to place this order will be as equally impressed and satisfied with it as I am with mine.

The spout is nice and has a solid feel to it. Asthetics it is fine.Comes with spare O-rings and a spare set screw, nice extras.Threats are standard 1/2" NPT male.Now the bad part. While it can be installed cleanly, that can be a difficult task. There is extremely little tolerance for the insert pairing to the spout. Look at the picture and notice the taper between the O-rings and the threads. That is where the set screw has to land. Being a tapered pipe thread, the depth of the insert being screwed into the inside of the wall can be a mystery. You don't get to pick the depth that the threads seal up. Plan ahead for wall surface material install depth. If it is wrong, open the wall and adjust the rough in depth. Where a typical tub spout has inches of play where it slips onto the rough in spout, this will require very careful planning in order to get a good install.Ideally it would be nice if the back side of the wall was open and you could adjust the rough in depth after the tub is finished. That would be a rather rare situation.
