This is a handy little rack, and exactly what I was looking for.I regularly work on more than one project at once, and often have more than one painting drying at once, a tricky thing when your space is extremely limited. I was looking for a drying rack that could also work as storage for reference photos and other paintings waiting for a touchup or additional detail work.This rack is working perfectly! It's easy to put together and install, and the directions were simple to follow. The pueces are all nice quality and it's sturdy and stable on my wall. The best part is the wall installation! It takes up so little space! And you get plenty of room between layers, more than enough to avoid smearing. I considered cutting some layers of foam shelf liner to put on every layer to avoid any slippage, but the wire is holding things great on it's own, I think it's not necessary.I highly recommend this to any artist who is working with limited space or who just wants to tidy up and get organized. It looks really good on the wall, is an awesome size for what I needed, and keeps my in-progress work safe. It's excellent quality and a great value for the money.

I guess I did not read the description well enough on this drying rack, because when it arrived, it was a wall mount instead of the table top rack like I had thought. That was a surprise because it now limited where it could be placed - but that's OK. I did not get this for a classroom or children, but for myself. I like painting small pieces, and this rack is perfect for drying paintings done on flat canvas board. It holds them nicely, keeps them apart so they will dry well and not stick together. My initial placement has changed, but I am so loving this rack for its usefulness in holding my pieces apart when drying/curing. LOVE IT!
