Years ago, way earlier in our marriage, someone had gifted us with a WOK. I had no idea what to do with a WOK and that was before the internet was readily accessible. So, I was asking everyone I knew if they had any WOK recipes. LOL. I don't know why I didn't just make up my own, but for some reason I thought there were only certain things you could or should cook in a WOK, if you were lucky enough to own one. I don't know whatever happened to that old pan, but it was rarely used, and when it was, it was a pain to clean. I think it was stainless steel maybe, but boy did everything stick to it and you had to scrub it with a brillo pad. So fast forward to 2025 and again a WOK comes across my radar. AND, this WOK is supposedly non-stick. AND, there''s a treasure-trove of readily-available recipes on the internet. So, I went ahead and got it. And boy am I glad I did! You can cook soooo many things in this! It doesn't have to be Asian cuisine. And, one of the great things about it is because it truly is non-stick, you don't have to use any (or very little) cooking oil with it. That makes for cooking much healthier foods. I also like that it has a fitted lid, as some of the things I cook require one. Now I love "one pot" or "one WOK" cooking. Plus, cleaning the dish after each use is really just a simple rinse. Great product and I use it all the time!

My mom was a traditional Chinese woman: she had a wok that might have been even older than me, and it seemed to have captured the flavor of a thousand perfectly-seasoned dishes by the time I had my first cube of tofu. I have never gone out of the way to purchase my own wok, but I've wanted to find and replicate some of her recipes to honor her memory—and I find this to be a great starter wok. It is not "heavy duty", per se, but the pan is an excellent build for the price. It's lightweight (far more so than the standard, multi-generational wok some of us might be familiar with), but this lends to an ease of use that is perfect for anyone learning their way around a rounded pan.The handle is smooth, and the pan itself is well-weighted, making it incredibly fun to toss rice around on a particularly ambitious day in the kitchen. The "pebbled" base seem to be ideal for heat distribution and searing, while the high capacity means that you're given a lot of room to work with. Perhaps best of all, I've yet to cook a meal and feel my biceps straining from the process. Very minimal staining and tarnishing thus far. Jury is out on how it holds up when stacked against my mom's, but I think this is great for anyone wanting to try their hand without the years of experience home chefs may have! The addition of the scrubbing brush is a nice addition. This metal one this one is thinner, and the wok overall is a bit more delicate, so take good are of it!

Really nice, really solid pan. Well made, good materials used, handle is really nice. Pan is easy to use, easy to clean. Can do so many stir frys or just sautee in general. Heat conducts very easily and also very evenly. Happy with this pan.

My wife and I typically try to eat stir fry a few times a month and this has been working out really well. At first I was a bit apprehensive about the build quality because I had to assemble the handle but once everything came together I was very impressed with the build quality and the weight of the wok. Overall we're very happy with this. It has a good size to it and we're able to easy cover dinner for 4 without any issues. The wok heats pretty evenly and the food we've prepared thus far has come out great. Easy to clean and comes with what you'll need to clean it. The wok comes with 2 books, one regarding how to take care of the wok and the other regarding the companies history. I know that seems weird to mention but it was refreshing to know that I had a product from a company that had a good history behind it. Makes me feel better about the longevity and quality.

In the Top highlight description, a lid is included. But I did not receive it.

There is nothing like a good wok if you know what you're doing with one and you get a decent one. From stir fry to sauces to noodles to whatever, it's just a good all-purpose pan to have. This 11-inch wok from WANGYUANJI is a good entry-level wok. It's smaller than what I would call "traditional size" woks, so maybe a little bit easier to manage for those just starting out in wok cooking. It's fairly thin-walled steel, and definitely not a hand-hammered version. Instead, it has a non-stick surface (sort of--you still need to use oil) that is farily easy to clean, and cleaning implements are included. You get a removable wooded handle, and the weight distribution is good.So like I said, to me, this is really good as a starter wok, or a wok for someone who is cooking for just a couple of people at most. If you take care of it, it will take care of you.

The quality of this wok is amazing. The wood handle is great and doesn't get hot when used. Once you season the wok, nothing will stick to it. The ladle that comes with it is great and so convenient!
