This water drain saddle valve quick connect drain saddle valve is used to connect the drain tube from RO systems to the sink drain pipe. This drain saddle will expel waste water from your reverse osmosis filtration system into your sink drain. The 1/4" quick connect fitting allows for easy tubing connections.This product is made from high quality materials that will guarantee you a lasting leak free experience.
This drain saddle valve is super easy to install. All you need to do is to drill a 1/4" hole in your sink drain, place the foam gasket over the hole on the inside of the clamp. Place the drain saddle aligned with the hole over the pipe and screw in the bolts and nuts. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Connect your 1/4" waste water tubing from your RO system to the drain saddle and you are set. This drain saddle valve is compatible with most standard pipes from 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" in diameter.

I attached this and there are no leaks. I have it on a 1 1/2" drain pipe and the front and back make contact. It makes me nervous that it might not be tight enough. But no leaks, so I think i'm good.

Ordered a saddle that was supposed to be used for 3/8" tubing - was sent a saddle that accepted only 1/4". Probably a decent saddle otherwise.

Drain saddle works great for Reverse Osmosis systems when you want to connect drain like to existing plumbing. When drilling into pvc plumbing pipe, you may want to place a piece of wood or something similar inside the pipe so the drill bit doesn’t hit the other side of the pvc and crack it (happened to me and had to replace that piece of pvc pipe).

This part was very easy to install and doesn't leak at all. The saddle valve that was in place before was terrible and used to leak all over the place. This one works perfectly. Just follow the instructions and drill the hole in the right spot.
