I will be using this later this season to monitor the water supplied through my drip irrigation to my garden. The flow meter's working pressure rating is 120 psi which is higher than the pressure in most household systems. My system is above average (92 psi) and I use all 3/4" class hoses and fittings. With high pressure and large hoses, my initial test quickly went over limit. It should work well with the drip irrigation restriction on flow.I checked the brass connections on the flow meter. They are solid brass. So, at least the fittings should be OK to run over with the car.Note: I tried the threads on a couple of my connections. That went great until I connected to my only plastic male connection. The threads inside the flow meter's female inlet are sharp and it tried to cut new threads in the plastic until I backed it out and carefully restarted.

I ordered this water flow meter to use in my chicken coop, as I was curious about how much water I was using in that area of my yard. It’s a great tool for monitoring water usage, and it helped me get a better understanding of my consumption. However, when I first installed it, I experienced a lot of leaking. It took several weeks for the gaskets to swell and seal properly, which was frustrating. Once that issue resolved, though, the meter worked as expected.

Easy to read and extremely accurate. Cannot comment on battery life as have this installed on a rear of the house hose bib which gets used about once a week. Hoping it is durable enough to last for a few years as monitoring water usage information is extremely valuable.

This is a great little water meter, easy to use with quick easy to read results. Readouts can be easily given in either imperial or metric and are accurate, I have a second meter and the readings were identical. It seals well to any standard outdoor faucet size. It’s powered by 2 batteries which are easily swapped out when needed. I used to to measure the water in my irrigation system in order to determine the flow rate.Overall I’m very happy with it, easy to use and accurate.

This flow meter is made with solid metal connections, not cheap plastic ones I have seen on others. It seemed to work fine when hooked up to the water spigot outside. We will test more in depth in a couple months when camping season finally starts up. I plan on using it to measure the amount of water added to the fresh water tank and also the black tank for the final rinse. It's annoying to run back and forth from the outside hose to the water level indicator inside the RV. This should solve that issue. Especially when tank sensors stop working correctly. Now I will know when it's about full.

Fairly accurate (verified with a four-gallon bucket), but, like another product from this brand, I had real trouble getting a tight seal. Went through a good bit of plumber’s tape to get it right.Otherwise, recommended.

My dad knows his overall water usage each month, but wasn't able to discern garden use vs the rest. This is exactly what he needed. Just a quick little addition on the garden tap and we're off an running. Battery life will obviously not be known for hopefully months, but can't imagine it's terrible. Easy to set up for gallons and in a month hopefully he'll have some real data to gauge his use.

This is very helpful to people with an RV tank system. It measures the volume (gal. or liters) of water that goes through the device. This is needed when filling potable water tanks and sometimes waste holding tanks (for cleaning) without overfilling. It is well constructed with brass fittings and appears to be within the stated +/-5% accuracy range. It has several additional modes based on water flow through the device. It’s a nice to have item.

Quobas water flow meter is heavy with brass metal fittings.Comes with full instructions and battery.I really like that it includes a metal mesh filter built in.Several great features are flow mode ,consumption mode ,total mode and average mode so you can track your overall usage what the total consumption is for example if you were watering the garden so you know how much water you use to do that. Just what I need for my garden. I also like that it can attach to a faucet or a hose, right at the spray gun

This water flow gadget offers real time tracking with adjustable detail settings. Installation is straightforward: attach it to your tap and activate the water. However, I encountered a significant leak at the unit's body, specifically where the threads meet the main casing, despite using the included Teflon tape. The leak worsened with increased water pressure, raising concerns about the device's accuracy. This issue, highlighted in the provided image, suggests a potential design flaw. While the concept is appealing, the leak undermines its functionality and reliability.

It being late Winter here, it is impossible to give this QUOBAS the real world test both it and readers of this review deserve. Would if I could but garden hoses and many inches of snow on the ground don't go well together. That said, I do not anticipate any difficulties in using this to effectively monitor my summer water use. A detailed instruction manual is included which has been very valuable in understanding the various functions and learning the adjustments required to alter the information provided. One of the things that I enjoy most about summer is my gardens. I find the multiple shapes, sizes, and colours to be both restful and uplifting. But as with everything these days, water use is becoming ever more costly, and it is important to have some information on how much water is being used. This flow meter will also allow more consistent watering so that the growing environment is as good as possible over the summer months. As mentioned in the product specs, this would also be quite useful for any situation where you wanted or needed to know the approximate amount of water added to a holding tank in perhaps an RV.At a current price of $26.99 LESS 15% (Feb26/25), the QUOBAS meter seems competitively priced.

This is a reasonably decent water flow meter/gauge that appears to be reasonably well-constructed without visible defect and it work as expected without issues (so far). It's fairly small and compact and it's a significant upgrade in comparison to what I had from Home Depot/Hardware with respect to its size; however, the main body/shell is still made of plastic despite the fact that the inlet/outlet are made of brass. It has all the common features (or modes) that you'd typical find from these compact water meters such as flow rate (LPM/GPM) mode or total volume modes (last 7 days or total combined etc). It's powered by a standard CR2032 coin battery (included) as most others are. What sets this apart from what I had is the fact it has brass inlet/outlet where mine were plastic, and this is a definitive upgrade in comparison. Though, I've preferred a metal body/shell (or at least reinforced with metal) as well because I have had one that cracked its shell when it hit the concrete ground. The LCD is moderately easy to read and it can be a bit difficult to read especially at certain angles, and the overall quality and usability for the LCD is probably the biggest downside for this water flow meter. The measurements (volume) seem reasonably accurate although I haven't gotten the chance to test 'em for real. With that being said, the total volume is fairly accurate based on some quick tests and I can only hope the flow rate is equally accurate although admittedly I'm not overly concerned about the flow rate at this point in time.I should also mention that I have had several of these in the past and still have a few currently, and these meters tend to lose their accuracy overtime for some reasons and they can actually be off by quite a bit (which was one of the reasons they were tossed). We shall see how long this will last. Fingers crossed!≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a decent water flow meter/gauge that seems reasonably well-constructed with brass inlet/outlet and for the most part works as expected without issues although the LCD screen isn't exactly easy to read at times (depending upon the angles etc). It's reasonably priced at $27 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, versatility, and performance. Its longevity remains to be seen, as always.
