I ordered this after liking my prior water aerobics class but hating the chest floatation device that is most commonly used. I thought about the ankle floaties but this looked better. It is certainlyl not flattering but is quite comfortable and provides good flotation for deep water aquatics. It makes for a more stable experience and does not ride up like the dreaded and uncomfortable chest floatie.

This flotation device works perfectly for water aerobics and just cycling around in the swimming pool. It's such a great alternative to the flotation devices that continually ride up in back. Wonderful product!

I saw a woman with one of these at the pool. I decided to try it and it's so much better than a swim belt. It holds you upright in the pool, so I no longer felt pushed over by the belt. The belt also cut off my breathing. This just goes between your legs with a belt to keep it on - but not constricted. Love it, and more and more people have one in the pool. I wish the pool had one for people to try.

Hands-down, this is the best flotation device for deep-water aqua-aerobics ever made! I badly ruptured a disk (L5-S1), in my lumber spine in 1991, while backpacking with an 80 lb. load. I'll never do that again but it was too late! I've been using flotation devices for therapy for over thirty years and I've tried every device ever marketed in that time period. When I purchased this device, many years ago, the manufacturer only had one size. Now they make a "large" size but the only difference is the length of the strap between the two floats. I was hoping the large size would have bigger foam floats for my 235 lb. body. No such luck. Nevertheless, the flotation is adequate for my large frame and weight even using the original size device.

This is light and comfortable. I find it much easier to sit on for water aerobics than the swim noodle which shifts in position and hits me in the face. I forgot my water horse for my most recent aerobics class and really regretted it because I had to go back to the noodle. ARGHH. This is a wonderful product and adds to the great execution of water aerobics exercises.

If you're uncomfortable using the flotation belt for water aerobics, the Water Horse is an excellent alternative. I love mine, and am really thankful that I found it. No more pulling the belt up (or down) in the middle of a workout. Just jump on the Water Horse and ride off into a happy place!

Perfect for aqua fitness in deep water. You can use in shallow water too for more intense use of arms and legs. Comfortable and easy to use. Light weight and adds almost no weight to my gear bag. A great addition to my h20 workout gear.

I've started deep water aerobics and am nearly 90 lb overweight. I needed a device to help me stay afloat while I work mainly my legs which is hard to do without such a device and, worse, it's hard to keep good form. I looked at belts and they might be fine for thinner people but I didn't like the idea of having to wear a bulky belt. With the seahorse, you need no belt at all even though it comes with one. It is very light and dries easily - I just swing it back and forth after using it and the water comes right off. It is dry easily by the next day or sooner. I wear the tailored end in front and the squared off end in back. It works absolutely perfectly making this the one and only type of exercise I truly enjoy. It even makes day-to-day walking easier and my energy has increased. I highly recommend both deep water aerobics and this seahorse, an essential to a good workout without strain.
