We will use this pump for showers at our camp. We tried it out using a bucket and car battery. It worked instantly no fussing around to make it work. The package comes with several hose adaptors and an inline strainer that will catch wisps of algae or other dirt that might damage the impeller. At the price this pump is an excellent value. I cannot comment on durability until we've used it at camp for a couple weeks. I'm glad I ordered this pump.

First pump lasted two weeks, second pump 6 weeks just long enough to not be able to return it.

If you want a good cheap alternative washdown pump then this is what you need. Only thing wrong I’ve dealt with is it wont shut off when you close pressure to the pump. when you stop the flow of what you’re spraying. It shuts off here and there. It’s kind of a big deal but I know how to deal with it. I have a 125ft 3/8in ID hose set up to spray chlorine to clean mold&mildew. Great pump! definitely worth buying if you dont want to spend 100’s$ on a jabsco or shurflo. When it finally stops working it’s cheap enough to buy another one and not be mad.
