This a quality affordable case, perfect for a fire arm and ammunition or a laptop. It's very durable and has a place for a pad lock. It keeps your valuables safe and dry. It's a fraction of the cost if you went with a name brand version but the quality is still superb.

I have a lot of sensitive gear whether it is for photography or my computer equipment, and when it comes to transporting it I am a big fan of tough boxes from brands such as SeaHorse, Pelican and B&W Outdoor Cases. These tough boxes set the bar high, but they do come at a price, so it is always good to see similar lower priced options. It does technically check off all the boxes when it comes to doing what it says, however the toughness and quality of materials, along with the build itself make this something I wouldn't rely on for anything truly important.Pros:+ Excellent small size for carrying a DLSR, and some supporting lenses/gear.+ Decent water resistant seal* (they say waterproof in the description).+ Pick n' Pluck foam.Cons:- Thin and uncomfortable handle that does not feel very strong.- Floppy latches that have a locking mechanism that has small metal internal components to actuate. This is an issue in dusty environments, as well as with sea water/sand/etc. They just barely pull the case shut and mostly just hold it shut when they click into place.- Thin plastic on the case itself when compared to others like it.- The "pressure valve" is actually just a threaded hole through the case with a rubber O-Ring, it is not a pressure valve at all. In fact, because the threaded insert on mine was installed at an angle, this is a point of water ingress as I cannot seal it shut.Overall, this is a low cost tough box with a build quality and materials that match. It is low end in every way, and not something I would trust anything of value to. This might be good for storing tools in, but it is most certainly not for use in wet conditions. Unfortunately this has extremely limited use, and it does not live up to the product description and as such it is not something I would recommend.
