I've had some similarly built tripods and selfie sticks that felt a lot cheaper, and they did the job but not nearly as well. My camera can be a menace with its popsocket, and I was still able to use this, too!

I recently got the Waterproof Extendable Selfie Stick with a diving phone case, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my outdoor gear! I recently used it on a cruise excursion, and it worked perfectly for capturing amazing underwater shots while snorkeling.The extendable feature lets me get the perfect angle, and the underwater housing keeps my phone safe and dry. I love how durable it feels, and it’s lightweight, making it easy to carry on my adventures. If you’re looking to up your photo game during water activities, I highly recommend this selfie stick!

I am a triathlete, and I have weekly swim video analyses with my coach. I don't always have my friend with me at the pool to film me, and I wanted a tripod for my phone so I could film myself. I came across this selfie stick, which can be converted to tripod AND it comes with a water proof case for my phone so I can film myself underwater (as long as my friend can do the underwater filming, that is). The waterproof case is slightly bulky, but we got it to work just fine, and I got some really great videos for my coach. I love the remote shutter button too. It is very handy to remotely control the shutter--that way I don't have to get out of the pool every time I want to record a video! The tripod was fairly easy to set it. It doesn't really come with directions, but I found it more or less self explanatory (it took me a few minutes to figure out how the components connected together). Overall, this is a solid tripod! I like how the bottom part of the tripod/selfie stick is coated in rubber so you don't lose your grip.I really wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality, but I am so happy with my new tripod setup for filming my swimming!

This is a very complete selfie stick kit for travel or active use, with many ways to connect to your phone. The plastic phone case is waterproof - Just make sure that the seal on the lid doesn't have sand or any contamination on it. The clear plastic portions of the case allow for crystal-clear pictures, and my Samsung Galaxy S21 mounted easily to the suction cup spacer, and held the phone securely within the case. The selfie stick extends a long distance, and has a very soft silicone grip. It can attach to the tripod (not very sturdy at full extension), and my kit came with 2 wrist straps to secure the stick when used under water.What is really great about this kit is the bluetooth camera remote. It was simple to connect to my phone, and worked perfectly to take a remote picture. (The instructions are written in the TINY booklet provided - you might need magnifiers to read it!) The only concern I have is that the remote is NOT waterproof, and if you plan to take underwater pictures with your camera in the case, you have to put the remote in a waterproof bag and bring it with you. So, you have to swim/snorkel/dive with the selfie stick/camera, and hold onto the bag with the remote! Not very convenient; it would have been nice to have a waterproof bag provided in the kit. You have to remember to set your phone on camera mode and always on before heading to the water, because once it is in the waterproof case, you cannot change the settings or screen.For the price, this is a good kit.

The Waterproof Extendable Selfie Stick with Diving Phone Case is very cool. The shutter remote is the MVP for this product in my opinion. It worked flawlessly with my Android phone straight out of the box. I tried the tripod attachment with the waterproof case. When the stick is functioning as a tripod is not sturdy. The tripod base is not sturdy the legs need to be longer or the joints stiffer. It mostly works but it tipped easily. I consider it still workable because once you set it up you really don't have to touch it because the camera is activated with the remote anyways. The tightening mechanism on the selfie stick does loosen on its own and it will randomly slide down when used vertically as a tripod. I found myself having to adjust the tripod every so often. The case works in a water trickling down situation, I used it to film in my shower. I have not tried submerging my camera with this case yet. The case works in an interesting way, it can accommodate a range of phone sizes. The waterproof case is big enough for the biggest phones and has an insert with suction cups to mount a smaller phone in a position to align its lenses with the clear window. It seals with a metal thumbscrew which I view as more durable than some of plastic latches I've seen on other waterproof cases I have used. But because it is a screw it takes a bit longer to open and shut than a latch would. It's a tradeoff that I am fine with.Overall, this case and selfie stick is nice. I would not get this if you plan on relying on the tripod function much but it is great as a handheld stick. PS the instructions don't guarantee that the remote is waterproof so you may want to take a little waterproof baggie of some sort to put the remote in if you want to use the waterproof case in water.
