The material is a bit waffle-like. It's not too bad and covers our bench well, but it's a bit too large leaving some material puckered around the top edge.

This cover was extremely made and would not stay on the bench with the elastic provided. The top of the bench is wood and the cover just slid around everywhere - would not recommend for the money it costs. I have returned it.

I got this as a cover for my embroidered cushion on my piano bench. I have 4 kitties and one of them, Jack (short for you can imagine), keeps insisting on clawing my stuff. He is no longer destroying the embroidery, but instead of destroying the cover. Honestly, it's holding up remarkably well given the circumstances. I was just hoping it would be a bit more durable for my purposes

I have a piano bench that is over forty years old, and it is smaller than what seems to be a typical size now. The original cover split, and it has taken many years for me to cover it. This cover fit my bench fairly well, though it is slightly big. I simply tuck the cover in when it starts to look "bunchy", and no one is any the wiser that I have done something to improve the look. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to deal with the issue.
