Awesome upgrade for my PC. Only works on Intel CPU motherboards, so don't buy it if you have an AMD setup. The adapter was easy to install in the spare slot on my computer and worked straight away when I rebooted. I logged on using the wifi, and everything runs as well as the wired Ethernet I wanted to replace. I'm very happy to have Bluetooth on my PC as well.

Installed this wifi card in an Ubuntu 24.04 linux server that I was too lazy to run wire to. It came with a standard and SFF blank which I needed the sff since my server is an old dell desktop. It installed simply with the small bracket and it only took a couple of minutes to add it to the computer's network configuration. It picks up the wifi signal well and has been solid for the past week. It is more than fast enough for the couple services I'm running on it! One caveat to all of this is that there is an included heat sink with a thermal pad that I needed to adjust. It was not placed very well. Other than that mishap I am totally satisfied with my purchase.

This card is how I learned more about compatability, I was relieved to see the Bluetooth functionality is still compatible with AMD. Luckily for me, Bluetooth was the main appeal and I plan to continue using ethernet anyway. The card looks really good, the red heat sink is striking and noticable and the whole thing looks well manufactured. I'm still happy with it, no complaints here.

Easy installation and setup with windows 11. My Bluetooth speakers connected with no issues and so did my Samsung s25 ultra for phone link. I only have wifi 6 so can not comment on the wifi 7 speeds, but I am getting the full 500Mbps upload and 200Mbps download from my ISP although my pc is a few meters from the router.

This pcie card was a breeze to put in and it was my first one! I watched a quick YouTube video as well as video chatting with a friend of mine who builds computers. Once I took the top off of my media PC which was a 2012 build and you can see the enclosed picture of the Intel motherboard and forgive the upside down photo as I forgot to flip it around before I uploaded it.The hardest part is since I'm a big guy is the lack of room to work in these computer housings. Once I installed it into the pcie and physically screwed it down and connected the USB 9 pin onto the motherboard. I rebooted and an Intel window popped up wanting to do two immediate driver updates for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi components and after that was done I ran a speed test with Wi-Fi only and you can see that in one of the photos and I got the 320 megabits per second which is actually faster than my paid for Speed and as comparison anytime you are on an Ethernet you always get faster speed the other photo in the 400s is etherneted. It is imperative that you turn your system off then I took my socks and shoes off as I was standing on a rug and placed a piece of plywood down as well as I had a piece of metal in one hand and I grounded myself to the chassis of the computer itself and then I disconnected the IEC power cable with the ground from the back of the PC cabinet itself which ensure that I was completely grounded and then I simply proceeded with the physical install including a little bit of cable management and the whole process took about 15 minutes

The network card has been holding up nicely for me. Installation was easy, as I just had to install it in a PCIE slot and my Intel system was able to recognize the card without issues. I also plugged in the bluetooth connector and my bluetooth devices have been working great communicating with each other. The network card is connected to my WiFi 7 router and my router does recognize the card as WiFi 7 capable with MLO capabilities. I've tried different SSIDs with different frequencies from 2.4ghz, 5ghz, and 6ghz. All of them work great as well as the MLO feature. The distance from the network card to the router is about 10 feet with a clear line of sight between the two. I haven't had any network disconnection issues. As for the speeds, it's fast on all of the bands. The speeds don't beat or match ethernet, but having that 6Ghz and MLO is an improvement in wireless connectivity.Overall, I'm happy with the performance of the network card. It works well on all of the network bands and reliability has been good. It works great on Windows and Linux, without any recognition issues.

The WAVLINK PCIe WiFi 7 Network Card is an easy-to-install upgrade for Intel-based desktop PCs that need high-speed wireless connectivity. With tri-band support (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz) and Bluetooth 5.4, it’s a future-proof option—but keep in mind that it only works with Intel motherboards and Windows 10/11.Build Quality & Design✔ Compact & Well-Built – The card is well-designed and fits neatly in PCIe slots.✔ Metal Heat Sink – Helps dissipate heat for better long-term performance.✔ Dual 5dBi Antennas – Provides strong reception in most setups.Performance & Functionality✔ Blazing-Fast Speeds – Supports WiFi 7 (BE8800) for high-bandwidth tasks.✔ Reliable Bluetooth 5.4 – Extended range and stable connectivity for peripherals.✔ Advanced Security – Includes WPA3 & WPA4 encryption for secure connections.Things to Keep in Mind:⚠️ Intel-Only – Not compatible with AMD motherboards.⚠️ Windows 10/11 Required – No support for older Windows versions or Linux.⚠️ Antenna Placement – In tower configurations, antennas can bump into each other, though this doesn’t seem to affect performance.⚠️ No PCI Slot Support – Requires a PCIe slot (x1, x4, x8, or x16).Final ThoughtsThis WiFi 7 network card is a great choice for Intel-based PCs, offering high-speed wireless, Bluetooth 5.4, and strong security features. Installation is straightforward, and performance is solid, but the lack of AMD motherboard support and tight antenna spacing in tower setups might be drawbacks for some. If you have a compatible Intel system, this is a great WiFi upgrade!
