To install a WB2X8228 Element Receptacle and Wire Kit, follow these steps
- Disconnect your range or cooktop from the power source.
- Remove the drip pan and any other components that are blocking access to the element receptacle and wire kit
- Locate the element receptacle and wire kit. It is typically located underneath the surface element
- Disconnect the wires from the old element receptacle and wire kit
- Remove the old element receptacle and wire kit
- Install the new element receptacle and wire kit
- Connect the wires to the new element receptacle and wire kit
- Replace the drip pan and any other components that you removed
